Cat Sitting in Congerville

Emily is wonderful! Our cat was originally a stray so she is timid with others but based on the videos I think she is really warming up to Emily! Emily does a great job and we have used her services several times now. It feels so good knowing we can rely on her to check on our cat when we go out of town.

She was a great person to come see my cats. I'd call myself and pets on the higher maintenance type of situation and she was able to hand it all like a champ. She had to medicate 2 of them and was successful, spending how ever much time she needed to get them to take their meds. Very communicative and able to follow directions!

Edward seems to have loved his visits from Jennifer! He was happy when we got home and the pictures from his visit were adorable. He got his favorite belly rubs! I will definitely reach out to Jennifer in the future and would recommend her and Jean to anyone needing care for their pet. They even brought in our packages which was extra nice. We are glad to have met Jennifer and Jean through rover! We really enjoyed and appreciated meeting them before the visits too.

MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.

This is our second time using Georgia to care for our 4 kitties while we are gone. She has been great each time! Our boys are well taken care of and we’ve had such peace of mind knowing someone is loving our babies in our absence.
