Cat Sitting in Congerville

I had an amazing experience with a caretaker who took great care of my cat. They provided a safe, loving environment and consistently sent me photos, which was a delightful touch. I highly recommend their exceptional service.

MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.

Friendly, easy to work with, and got along great with my cat! Sent lots of pictures which always helps put you at ease then you away. Will definitely be rebooking in the future!

Georgia was willing to drop in even though I'm kinda out of the way. I really appreciate it, and she made sure to give me photo updates of all the kitties, even the ones that were hiding. Gave me peace of mind while I was travelling and I came home to happy cats!

Michele was great! She dropped in over 4 days to feed, administer medication to and clean up after my 4 cats. My cats were well taken care of and happy. Michele is also very responsive to messages and I was never worried. Would definitely recommend her services.

Jasmine was perfect, I could tell she cared a lot and it was nice getting daily check ins!

My Smokey first time was alone when I was gone for a week. I knew he was going to be emotionally stressed. Amber handled Smo very well. Cared for him and fed him food and meds as needed. I’m very happy with Amber how she took care of Smo. I’ll recommend her 100% to take care of your furry babies.
