House Sitting in Harwood Heights

This man is the most patient, dedicated, and loving sitter you could hope for! We have two dogs, both with weird quirks and the GSD is reactive to new people so needs several meetings to get comfortable. During our first meeting, I was surprised he didn't walk out. She barked and lunged and took a long time to warm up to him and if he was scared he didn't show it. Just patience and persistence and some jokes. We needed him to stay with both dogs while my family went on a trip to Ireland for 12 nights so if I couldn't find someone that could get past her first impression, I wouldn't be able to go. Ray came every day the week of Thanksgiving and every day I was back in town leading up to our trip at Christmas to spend time with both dogs and get to know their routines. I had given him a 6 page document of routines and commands and instructions and he came back each day with notes and questions like he'd been studying for a final exam. By the time we left for our trip I felt confident our dogs would be great in his care and wasn't disappointed. He sent photos and videos of them playing each day and he got them to both eat full meals every day which is hard even for us to do sometimes. Truly a gem of a human and dog carer. So lucky we found him and will definitely use him again when we can!

Coleen kept our home clean and tidy while we were gone, sent a ton of photos to keep us updated with our dogs' feeding and activity, and made a solid connection with both of our pups during a meet and greet. We felt comfortable leaving them with Coleen and came back to happy dogs and a clean home. Coleen is great at communication before and during the stay and possesses knowledge about dogs we appreciated. Thanks Coleen!

Andrea was an absolute dream of a sitter! She stayed at our home to take care of our pup and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly attentive, respectful of our space, and most importantly—so loving and caring with our dog. Throughout the day, she sent regular updates and the sweetest photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear from the pictures and messages that our pup was happy, relaxed, and in great hands.

Monica is wonderful. She is communicative, providing updates and pictures the entire time. We had to leave on short notice for a family emergency and last minute she came to meet the dogs and learn about their schedule. Monica is patient, understanding, and flexible. My Bronx and Lila loved her. We highly recommend her and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Nicholas did an awesome job with our 2 pups!! He even did training sessions and enrichment activities with them while we were gone. As a bonus surprise, the house was very clean.

Jo did an amazing job taking care of Maggie!! She was in constant communication with me, and took exceptional care of her over a long weekend. I would definitely use Jo again. Jo also left the house in great condition - clean as when it was when I left. Thank you!!!

Stephanie was great! Dealt beautifully with my dog Charlie, in particular, who is extremely anxious but also elderly, so he needed to be carried a little bit. She took the time to sit with him and make him feel comfortable (even outside in the summer!) so that he would allow her to carry him up the outside steps. She and her son played with my cats, who seemed like they had so much fun. She kept me updated on what was happening throughout our trip. Highly recommend!

Hanna is wonderful! Clearly an animal lover. She took great care of our pets and our home and we will definitely be using her services in the future.

This is the second time we’ve had Eddie sit for our dogs and he’s great! He is communicative and very responsive. Out senior dog needs a bit more care, support and attention now and Eddie is always so good with her. He makes us feel very comfortable being away for a few days. Highly recommend him.

Josie was great with our dog & cat. I felt very comfortable being away knowing that she was looking after them. Will definitely book her again.

Renee is fantastic at caring for our dog. She has so much empathy for our old lady she even let her cuddle with her all night during a big thunderstorm to comfort her! 10/10!

Mirella was amazing! We had her watch our dog for the first time over the holidays and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She was very professional (did a pre-visit to get familiar with everything, great communication and messages) and at the same time we knew our dog was getting a ton of love and attention. She stayed in our home to watch our dog which made it so much easier for us and gave us peace of mind overall (especially with super low temps while we were away). We received daily photos and updates which was so fun to get and returned to a clean home and the kindest gifts/notes from Mirella (we were gone over the holidays). We will definitely be reaching out to Mirella for our next trip - I know Kibo will be excited to see her again!

Stephanie did a great job! The house was spotless when we got back, and our dog Lily was happy and relaxed. I was able to truly enjoy my trip to my niece’s wedding knowing everything was in good hands.

Liz did a fantastic job sitting for my dogs. Aspen is anxious and had no real problems warming up to her. She did very well with my special needs dog who requires medication 3 times a day. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks Liz and the pups look forward to you staying with them again soon.

Casey stayed at my house for a few days and cared for my three dogs while I was away on a work trip. I came home to three healthy, happy pups! Casey took great care not only with my dogs but also with my home.

Our girl Grace loves it when Cheryl takes care of her! Cheryl keeps Grace active and engaged, and is very flexible when travel schedules don't go according to plan. We're very grateful to have found her!
