Rover has provided me with fantastic, exceptional cat sitters like Kathryn! Conscientious, calm, flexible and extremely helpful. A great cat-lover, and my cat loves her attention.

I don’t usually leave long reviews, but this one matters. I have two cats and a senior dog named Luckie, who is at the end stages of bladder cancer. She was given 6 months to live—two years ago. She now has very specific care needs: daily pain meds that wear off in the afternoon (causing frequent, urgent trips outside), severe separation anxiety, and an extremely picky appetite (mostly cured ham at this point). My husband and I haven’t left her alone in years. One of us has always been by her side—until now, when we had to travel for our daughter’s wedding. I was extremely nervous about leaving her, but then I found Lisa on Rover. From our first meeting, I could tell Luckie felt comfortable, and I decided to trust her with our pets for a full week. I left her with a 7-page guide (yes, really), and she never once made me feel silly about it. She responded quickly to every message, sent thoughtful updates, and gave me peace of mind I honestly didn’t think was possible. I expected to be checking in constantly, but I didn’t need to—Lisa made it easy to trust that Luckie was in good hands. The best part? All of our animals clearly love her. And if you’re a pet parent, you know that says everything.

They did an amazing job. They were able to watch our dogs on short notice and im very thankful for that!

Brit stayed at our home for a week to look after our two golden retrievers who are both incredibly energetic and high-needs!! We didn’t worry one bit while she was here. From day one, Brit jumped into our routine with warmth, reliability, and a calm that instantly put our dogs at ease. Brit kept our dogs happy, safe, and well-exercised. She managed their high energy with patience, engaging play, and plenty of mental stimulation. She kept them on their feeding schedule, followed routines, and made sure they had ample outdoor time, naps, and plenty of affection. Communication was exceptional. We received regular updates and photos, which was a huge comfort while we were away. Our dogs clearly bonded with her, and we felt confident that they were in capable, loving hands the entire week. They were sad to see her go… watched Brit drive away through our living room window! Bottom line: if you need a trustworthy, dog-loving sitter who truly understands high-energy breeds, Brit is your person. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended.

Tara is fantastic. She gave Jim Catsby extensive attention and affection .He was engaged and playing beyond his usual low activity level. I was thrilled with all the fabulous photos she sent me through the day. I was so happy to know he wasn’t lonely or missing me. Thanks, Tara!

Karen was OUTSTANDING! My dog Happy was very well cared for. Karen was respectful of the house as well. Will definitely use her services again!

This was our first time using Rover. My husband and I went on a week-long trip, and we couldn't find anyone to watch our 2 kitties overnight. I was nervous because I usually like to have family watch them, as I know them. After meeting Khalia, I could tell she cared for animals, and it made me feel better. She did a great job with our little chaos gremlins, and they felt safe with her! She left everything nice and clean, respected our home, and gave us updates with pictures. The pics meant a lot! I'm a worried cat momma, so this helped with us being so far away. We'll continue to reach out to her when we need a cat sitter!

We were very happy with Cynthia's kind and responsible approach when caring for our dog, "Sunshine". We have already booked her for another visit. Highly recommend!

Jackie was fantastic! She went above and beyond to make sure my pups were taken care of and that I had a stress free return from my vacation. I love that she sent me daily pictures of my babies looking so cute and happy too :)

Katie was awesome ! We have a chihuahua that gets stressed when we leave and she was her normal self when we got back from our weekend trip . Thank you Katie !

Alexis was absolutely fantastic and took great care of our pup while we were out of town. She was quick to respond, sent a ton of videos/pictures and took Mila on small jogs.... which she never wants to do with me! We will definitely be booking her in the future, even though she will probably be booked, and we highly recommend her! Thanks again, Alexis!

Sara is fantastic! She did everything I asked her to do and took great care of my fur babies and home! She also communicated with me throughout my trip. She is excellent, and I will use her again. I highly recommend her.

Rob was great with the boys and Simba absolutely loved him. I’m so glad Rob could sit for us on such short notice. We will definitely be booking with him again.

Diane was wonderful. She stayed at my house 2 days for several hours to keep my dog company while my husband and I were at work. I met her the first day, and she sat on the floor to greet my dog and let him feel comfortable. By no means was that necessary, Atlas is a sweet boy who loves everyone, but the fact that she did that shows how passionate she is. She sent pictures and provided several updates while sitting. Even though I didn't spend the day with Diane, our 30min interaction was enough to know she is a great person, who loves animals, and will rake great care of your fur baby. I would highly recommend Diane, and she is my gp to sitter when my inlaws are unavailable.
