Dog Boarding in Lake Barrington

This was our first time boarding our two dogs with Christine and we are so happy to have found her! She took such good care of our boys, especially our older dog who has anxiety and doesn’t like traditional kennels. We’ll definitely book with her again for our next trip.

I am beyond thrilled with the exceptional care and attention my dog received from Carolyn! From the first meet-and-greet, it was clear that Carolyn is not only professional but also truly passionate about animals. She took the time to understand my dog's needs, quirks, and preferences, which immediately put me at ease. During the time I was away, Carolyn went above and beyond. I received daily updates, complete with adorable pictures, which reassured me that my dog was not only safe but happy and well-loved. It was clear that she took great joy in playing with, walking, and cuddling my dog, ensuring a fun and comfortable stay. What really stood out was the extra care taken to maintain my dog’s routine. Carolyn was diligent about feeding times, exercise, and any special instructions I had given, showing genuine dedication. I Would HIGHLY recommend Carolyn to anyone looking for a sitter.

Judy is the absolute perfect dog-sitter! Her loving and calm demeanor put my dog at ease from the very first visit. We did not hesitate to leave Jax overnight with Judy, because we could sense how happy and secure he feels with her. Jax even gets to share Judy's bed, just like he shares my bed at home, which helped a great deal during a recent overnight stay with a thunderstorm. Judy is truly a rare find...10+

Marissa is very reliable sitter. Always respond to communications, take all your pet care instructions, send photos to update your pet well being. Nice location and will meet and greet your pet at her place to show around for first introduction and pet loving. Highly recommended !! Thank you Marissa and family for taking care of OLAF. Hannah is very professional, experienced, and full of love for dogs. My dogs always have a great time with her and are excited every time they see her. I highly recommend her!

Dorothy was wonderful to work with. The communication was great and I was very comfortable leaving my dog in her care, I highly recommend her! I've had other sitters and it was normal for my dog to be stressed out and not eat food for a day or two. Much to my surprise, my dog ate normally right from the start which is a huge testament to how well Dorothy nurtured her and helped her relax.

Yaqi was great with Tina. She was able to board our car very last minute after another Rover sitter canceled. She sent frequent updates with photos and videos. Tina was very well cared for. Thank you Yaqi!

Shalyn & Joe were amazing! From the meet and greet to when I picked up my pup they were polite, knowledgeable and easy flowing. Their two girls and their pup Sadie kept my Rambo on his toes. He was so tired he got home, got in bed and started snoring like he pulled a 24-hour shift 🤣🤣🤣 You can tell Joe and Shalyn love dogs and your pups will be safe and taken care of with them and their family. My Rubbles is a very nervous dog, so when we began the search for someone to care for him while we went on vacation made us worry. I am so thankful for Byron and Martha. They right away made us feel at ease, and understood what Rubbles needs to help him feel at home. From that moment I knew Rubbles would be in good hands. We couldn’t have been more relaxed knowing that Kim was taking great care of Penny. Kim sent updates and pictures often. Penny looked right at home. Kim accommodated Pennys love of sitting up high. Kim cleared off her bay window so that Penny could sit or lay and watch the squirrels and neighbors. I would highly recommend Kim to care for your pets❤️

Benni stayed with Elena while we were in Wisconsin. The minute we walked in for the meet and greet, Elena greeted us warmly with her toddler son. My mind was set at ease knowing this would and will be a great place for Benni to stay. Elena kept me updated with texts, pictures and even a video. Benni was definitely spoiled with all the love and care! I feel so Blessed to have found Elena and her son! We already booked Benni again and adding another one in the near future! Don’t hesitate to use Elena! Your dog will come home content and tired!

Our two small pups’ stay with Jacob was smooth and easy, and they came home happy, tired, and well-socialized. Jacob was a pleasure to work with: his communication is clear and prompt, he loves and knows dogs, and he gave daily updates with photos. We’ll be happy to board our fur babies with Jacob again!
