Dog Boarding in McHenry

Danielle took such good care of my little bug! He was super nervous after I left, but Danielle took him for a nice walk to get the jitters out and let him cuddle her and her kids (and even sent me pictures of him laying across their arms while on their laptop) and he immediately warmed up. I was so grateful she came through for me for a last minute booking. Will absolutely be bringing Archie to her again!

Alicia did a wonderful job again with Barkley! She takes him for walks and plays with him like he’s a part of the family. Great dog sitter for your furbaby 🥰 Thank you so much for taking such good care of him!

Carla was amazing with Scifi! He enjoyed playing in her huge fenced in backyard. Carla took great care of him and made sure his medication was given on time every single day. She sent us frequent updates, pictures and videos that helped us so much! We will definitely be back with Scifi!

Stella was so great with my Buddy that he was her favorite pal while I was gone! She was patient my dog and his separation anxiety! She sent updates and made me feel comfortable with his stay! I recommend her for anyone looking for dog boarding/sitting!

Dickson was amazing from start to finish! Right from the meet and greet, it was clear he knows exactly how to handle high-energy dogs. He kept us updated throughout the stay and is just a super friendly person in general. We felt totally at ease and will definitely be rebooking with him!

Melody was amazing! She took great care of my dog Sophie while I was out of town. She was very active with my dog and took plenty of pictures to show me how much fun they had I will definitely be using her again!

My 8.5 year old English Bulldog suffers from anxiety and has some special daily routine and care needs that make it difficult for me to leave her with others outside of family. Thanks to Rover, I found Debbie and her entire family who just knew how to care for my fur baby. All the glowing reviews here are true — Daisy stayed with them for 8 nights and my own anxieties of leaving her for my work travel melted away from our meet and greet alone. Debbie and her family are genuinely warm, detail oriented, reassuring and follow through daily with photo and text updates on how Daisy was doing. They even introduced Daisy to their friendly cat, Loki, who also seems to have magical powers over Daisy. I have never seen her get along so well with another pet and there was she was befriending someone who seems to have mellowed her anxious ways down. It’s been a few days now since I’ve had Daisy back and the change in her is amazing. She has mellowed out tremendously that I don’t even have to give her cbd oil nor treats anymore to help calm her down. She now has a calm demeanor to her! I swear, Debbie and her family are like dog whisperers! Thank you, Debbie, and your family for loving on and caring for Daisy. You are a healer. She will be back for sure!

June and Wade took very good care of Ziggy, I really appreciate the constant updates and the pictures , it was very nice to be able to leave Ziggy and not have to worry

We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care our dogs received! From the moment we dropped them off, Carolyn was attentive, organized, and genuinely loving. She kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. One of our dogs had a health issue during the stay, and she went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well cared for. Her compassion and quick response made all the difference. When it was time to pick them up, everything was smooth and well-prepared—our pups were happy, healthy, and clearly adored their time with her. If you're looking for someone who treats your pets like family, look no further. We highly recommend her and will absolutely be booking again!

This was our first time leaving our dog with a pet sitter. Angela was fantastic. Macy was a little anxious in the beginning and Angela was very patient with her and ended up winning her over in no time. We appreciated the daily feedback and pictures. Macy was well-loved while we were gone.

Megan was great! Updated with pictures and videos, and I was told at pick up Sir acted like he didnt want to leave, which shows how much he enjoyed himself there as well.

Kim was awesome. Maddie got a lot of love during her stay. She was even invited to sleep in bed with her. We also loved all the pictures and updates while we were away. We will definitely use Kim again

Jill was amazing with Delilah. She’s 10 and this was the first time I’ve ever left her with anyone. Jill texted me with updates and pictures all the time. I was nervous at first but felt so comfortable with her being there. Would definitely take Delilah back again.
