Dog Boarding in New Hanover

Very patient with Snowball. I can tell when I picked Snowball up that he had fun and didn't want to leave. He met other friendly dogs which is what I was hoping would turn out. Rachelle is very friendly but professional. I liked that she could be friendly and remain professional. The house was clean and not smelly. You can tell that she really takes care of her animals. I will choose her again.

Randy was great to work with. Since we are on a roadtrip, it is difficult to anticipate exact drop off or pick-up times. Randy was flexible even as the timing changed because of unexpected detours. She kept us informed on how Scout was handling time away from us, altering her plans to ensure Scout felt comfortable as we rarely leave him anywhere. I highly recommend Randy especially if you need someone to watch your pup, keeping them safe while you hike the Tetons.

Jenna took great care of the pups while we were away and I would use and recommend her to anyone. If she can take care of my crazy two she can do anything.

My little dog bonded quickly with Sarah, and I knew she would be well cared for during a 3-week boarding stay. Sarah has a natural way with animals and gave my pup the cuddles she needed. Unfortunately, my dog had a medical emergency during her stay, and Sarah took her to the vet, communicated closely with me, and carefully managed her meds and recovery. Sarah sent me daily updates and photos of my pup's progress, and I felt reassured (as much any dog mom could be from miles away) that she was getting plenty love and care. I will definitely be calling on Sarah the next time I need dog boarding!

Our dog loves to stay with Sarah and Brody. When we book with Sarah, we know she’ll get plenty of action and attention, and we’ll get the peace of mind that comes with that. Sarah is always flexible with drop-offs and pick-ups and is a great communicator. Highly recommend.!

Kelly is an outstanding professional. I have nothing but great things to say about her and her family. She did a wonderful job of caring for Murphy and Marshall. She sent great photo of our dogs and took great care of them. It's great to see her wonderful and sweet family interacting with our guys. I really appreciate the love and attention that Kelly provides, she cares for them as if they are part of her own family. She is my favorite sitter.

Misty is always so great with Lavy. Really appreciate how quickly she responds to messages and the updates during the stay. Her family is the sweetest !

As you know pets are family members not just animals. Ben was wonderful and accompanying to my situation! I can't recommend him enough! If you need any care for your family member please consider going to Ben! I cannot thank him enough!

Ali was incredibly responsive from the start and throughout the visit flexibility helping us work through scheduling drop off and pick up. We have a 12 year old German Shepard mix with bad arthritis in his hind legs making a lot of other sitters inaccessible to him, but our dog did well and is sleeping like a log after his weekend with Ali.

Deyna was great with our Welsh terrier. She's close to downtown in very nice location. Let her help you too!

Got plenty of photos and updates during Cooper’s stay. It looked like he was having fun and being active with the family the whole time. Will definitely use John again in the future.

Very caring for my high anxiety dog. She gave frequent updates and provided the calm and nurturing environment that he needed to feel safe. Followed care instructions to a T. Great sitter!

Overall, great experience with Katie. Our dog piper who is normally iffy with other dogs and new people had a great stay and got along with Eva (her dog) really well. Piper especially enjoyed her large fenced yard which we don’t normally have access to on our own

Ashlie and Phillip were great and we could tell Max did well. He’s on several medications and that didn’t seem to be a difficult thing for them to handle.. Max got plenty of exercise (play) and love from their entire family. Communication with photos was excellent and despite this being our first time with them, we were more than pleased and know Max will be visiting them again!

We had such a great experience! Francie's fenced backyard was perfect, looked like our dog got plenty of safe playtime. We loved getting daily pictures and updates, made us feel so at ease while we were away. Communication was easy and consistent. It was clear our dog was happy and well cared for. Would definitely book again!

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! Nacho had the best time with her. He got to go on field trips and play with her two dogs. Jennifer sent us pictures, videos and updates everyday which was so nice. We would highly recommend Jennifer!

Melissa was fantastic and I will definitely ask her to help with Blake in the future. Blake seem to enjoy his time with her. He didn't want to leave. ( he is not fond of car rides.)

Jane was great! Archie had the best time staying with her - she was attentive and responsive. I would absolutely have her watch Archie again!

Anthony and Sofia took wonderful care of our anxious, senior dog. She stayed a little over a week and came home happy and healthy. They gave her medicine every night and sent updates, photos and videos — mostly of our pup asleep on the couch, exactly where she loves to be! Before we’d always taken her to a boarding facility, but it’s clear she was much happier staying at their home. We will definitely be booking again!
