Cat Sitting in Normal

I cannot say enough great things about Chris and Kate! They provided a daily drop-in visit to check in on our kitties while we were out of town. Our playful kitty Lin met them at the door each day, our shy kitty Dottie quickly warmed up to them, and they were even able to spot our senior cat Smokey a number of times (before he ran off to hide, as he usually does, haha!) I also really appreciated the detailed notes and adorable photos of the kitties they sent us each day -- you could tell how comfortable the kittens were with them by the end of the week. It's such a relief to know your pets are being well taken care of when you're out of town! This was our first time using Rover, and I'm so glad to have had such a great experience with Kate and Chris! We will be booking them again in the future! :) Thank you!

Annie was absolutely fantastic! She was available last minute and on Thanksgiving which was amazing. She was very friendly and very professional, and did a wonderful job taking care of our cat! Her profile is definitely more dog-focused but she is perfect for cats as well. If we need a pet sitter again I will be going with Annie every single time if she is available. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I don't typically leave a review after the first visit. However, after a string of lackluster sitters, Peggy was a breath of fresh air. She was very attentive and followed my cat's care instructions to the letter. She even kept an eye on a few concerns I had with him which brought me comfort during my trip. I loved the update notes and photos from her visits with Barney. My cat was the happiest I have seen him upon returning from a trip in a long time. I hope to book Peggy again in the future, and I highly recommend her.

Renae came on short notice and jumped through extra hoops to take care of my cat with no complaints. She was pleasant, and we felt immediately comfortable that our cat was going to be taken care of while Renae was visiting. We enjoyed the photos, her great communication, and that she took care of things that she saw needed taken care of. Thank you, Renae.

Just moved to town and found Kirstie and I am very pleased. Very responsible, timely and communicative. Love that I have found a new Rover for my cats.

Catia took really good care of my cat Harlow . She let him watch cat TV. He recently lost his friend prior to our vacation but she made him feel at ease and loved. She sent pictures and made sure he was brushed as well. I would definitely recommend her.

Amber was a HUGE help to me. I changed plans twice on her and she was so kind and understanding and even let me book another night unexpectedly!! I also love how much her family loved my fur baby. I will absolutely be asking amber again! 110% recommend!!!

Georgia was so helpful and really gave us peace of mind that Chloe was taken care of while we were away! She’s diabetic, so we had to find someone willing to come by twice a day to give her insulin and Georgia was perfect for that. We will definitely book her for our future travels!

AMAZING pet sitter! I had been looking for a pet sitter for a long time with no luck but this app made me find the perfect pet sitter for my little kitten. She is very sweet and took amazing care of her and has amazing communication with me ! 100% recommend

MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.
