Cat Sitting in Normal

Katrina did a great job with our kitty! Got him his meds every day and spent time petting or playing with him - he’s very sociable and always wants to be with people. Very glad we found Katrina!

MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.

Renae came on short notice and jumped through extra hoops to take care of my cat with no complaints. She was pleasant, and we felt immediately comfortable that our cat was going to be taken care of while Renae was visiting. We enjoyed the photos, her great communication, and that she took care of things that she saw needed taken care of. Thank you, Renae.

Amber was a HUGE help to me. I changed plans twice on her and she was so kind and understanding and even let me book another night unexpectedly!! I also love how much her family loved my fur baby. I will absolutely be asking amber again! 110% recommend!!!

Jill took such good care of my boys while I was gone. The notes and photos she sent really put my mind at ease that my cats were being well cared fro while I was out of town. I will 100% rebook with Jill in the future.

Peggy was awesome! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!! My cats were stressed with all the changes that were happening (we were moving) and they were safe and well cared for by Peggy in a time they needed a place to be during that transition. She is kind and caring!!

Steven was a great house and cat sitter. He has a really great disposition about him, and when we got home, our girls were happy and the house was clean. Would love to hire Steven again!

Jaclyn was fantastic. She provided detailed updates and photos that reassured us our kitties were in good hands. She gave our needy boy extra attention and snuggle time. She even earned the trust of our shy girl. We will definitely be using Jaclyn again in the future.

Georgia was willing to drop in even though I'm kinda out of the way. I really appreciate it, and she made sure to give me photo updates of all the kitties, even the ones that were hiding. Gave me peace of mind while I was travelling and I came home to happy cats!

Kate and Chris are lovely people and fantastic sitters with my cat Mika! I received well informed updates and pictures that I appreciated so very much while away from her for the first time. Mika is nervous and shy around new people and they were very gentle and understanding with her. All her needs were met and they took care of her just as I would! Thank you so much for all of your help and keeping my Mika safe and happy!
