House Sitting in Norridge

I am sorry I waited a week before leaving this review; it took me a week to settle back into my life and to observe my dog, Clyde, after I had left him in the care of another sitter and Nicholas for four days each. My primary goal in booking through Rover was to ensure the care of Clyde. I am very pleased with Clyde's condition and energy in the week I have been home. As his care was split between two sitters, I would have to say that both gave him the attention and care that he needed. My other goal was the care of my house which, I believe, was also excellent. Highest marks to Nicholas and to my other sitter.

Kristin is amazing! She is so patient with my babies, and she left my house cleaner! She didn’t spread all over my house and I felt like my space was kept sacred.

We had such a wonderful experience with Katalina! She was incredibly kind, reliable, and caring with our dogs. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands, and it was clear how much she genuinely cared about them. We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again!

This was our George's first time to be "home alone" and we wanted to make sure everything went without a hitch..... enter Casey❤️ During the introduction meeting Casey was eager to discuss our expectations for her stay-- she was eager and asked great questions specifically about George The commands he knew, play schedule,'no detail was too small! She really wanted to know our Georgie! Daynofnthebstay, she was communicative sharingnupdatesnandnphotos. When our travel schedule was delayed she worked with us to make sure we were on our flight and headed home! She then checked back in to make sure we were. Safely back home Casey is kind and thoughtful-- got to know George We are so grateful for her attentiveness and warmth. Thank you Casey -- You won both Georgie and our family over!!! We hope to see you again soon!!!

Johanna did a great job caring for Ollie and was very responsive before and after our stay. She kept up with watering the plants during a heatwave and connected with the next sitter for Ollie while I was away.

Bryan was great! He was flexible and accommodating with extending the sitting time when my plans changed. He kept me updated daily and also sent pictures and videos which gave me peace of mind. Sultan was well cared for and my home was just as I left it.

Natalie took good care of our pup and left our house in great shape during a 10-day vacation. We will definitely reach back out the next time we are out of town!

Colleen was very communicative and took great care of our Dwayne. It’s great to know that our pup is receiving the same level of care he’d receive from us, especially because we have a dog that comes with some quirks. We could tell from the photos that Dwayne was so happy and comfy with Colleen. Colleen also made sure to follow his normal schedule perfectly and even let him be a bed hog—even after we assured her he’s happy in either the bed or kennel overnight. You can tell Colleen loves dogs. I would suggest Colleen to any friend.

Diane is delightful. Her presence was calming and made my pup fall in love right away. She was very educated, responsive, and attentive to all the fine details I provided for her stay. She left a tidy home + a very happy pup for me to come back to. We look forward to having Diane back soon.

Dylan is excellent! He made it possible for us to go to an event without any worry of how our fur babies would be. Will be booking again and recommend to anyone looking for a responsible, caring person!

Jakob is everything you’d want in a dog sitter! He is responsible, smart, energetic, warm, and left our house spotless. We could not recommend him more highly and will definitely hire him again. Jakob is excellent at communication (daily updates and photos) and is really just a lovely person! I’m very detail oriented and Jakob’s personality and style was a great match for me and our pup!

Sneydy was absolutely amazing taking care of my dog Avery. She was professional, communicative, and shared all the pictures while I was away for a long weekend, and it provided me with such peace of mind. I would definitely have Sneydy watch my girl again and highly recommend her!

Alexa was great to have house- and pet-sit for our two dogs. She was caring, a good walker, and excellent with our senior dog's medications. We loved her communication and daily updates, and she was a wonderful houseguest. Our dogs were happy and relaxed when we got home. They highly recommend Alexa as well.

We just used Victor for the first time… and he was absolutely wonderful! He house sat our 2 year old bulldog and cat and provided great updates everyday along with photos and videos . He even kept a log of walks/potty time which was an unexpected touch. Best of all we returned home to find our pets and home in excellent shape. Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!!!!!
