Dog Boarding in North Barrington

I am so fortunate I found June on Rover. We needed a sitter who will look after Knight for 6 nights. We like that Knight will be able to be on the sofa and sleep on the bed just like home. And Knight even gets to play with June's dog, Cookie! June is very responsive to my questions leading up to our trip. During our trip, she gave daily updates on Knight and sent pictures. There was never a time that I was concerned about Knight's well-being. Will definitely rebook with her again. Thanks, June!

Kim was fantastic! I have two older dogs that require medication and she was great with them. Very communicative throughout and provides lots of pictures of them enjoying their stay. I knew my dogs were in good hands and being treated as if they were here own. Would definitely recommend Kim and use her again!

We had an excellent experience with Dickson as a dog sitter for Pollux, our Briard, during an 11-day stay. From the start, Dickson’s calm and steady demeanor was a great fit for Pollux, helping him feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Beyond the regular responsibilities, Dickson went above and beyond by working with Pollux on a couple of dog commands and taking extra care with his grooming beyond the basic requirements. Dickson’s home is also very well suited for larger dogs, with an appropriate setup and a fenced garden that gave Pollux space to enjoy himself safely. We especially appreciated the regular updates, including pictures and videos of Pollux’s activities, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Communication with Dickson was straightforward and thoughtful. He kept us informed, asked questions when needed, and made us feel like true partners in Pollux’s care. We are very grateful for the attention and dedication he showed, and we would confidently recommend Dickson to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and capable dog sitter. I was really nervous leaving my dog with anyone since it had been years since I left her with a sitter and she has a chronic illness that requires a lot of care and medicine. From the start, Lisbeth was kind and patient and really cared about tending to my dog properly. Her calm demeanor not only put my dog but also myself at ease. She sent me videos and pictures everyday so I knew my dog was doing ok while I was gone. My dog came back so happy and so relaxed from her stay with Lisbeth that I knew she was looked after really well. Not only would I recommend Lisbeth, I also plan to book her again.

Jill was the absolute best. She took such good care of our babies, and made our vacation stress free because I knew they were in such good hands. My husband and I are really good judge of characters and there was no hesitation with Jill. She radiates so much love. Our babies came back so relaxed and we could tell there was only love in her home. We have definitely found the best sitter and will be rebooking.
