House Sitting in Northfield

Andrew was so great with our dog, Arlo! He sent pictures and you could tell Arlo was so happy to have him. He was great with communicating as well. We will definitely have him back again.

Samantha took great care of my pup! My pup was in such high spirits when I came home thanks to samantha! Definitely booking with her again in the future :)

Rosy and Josh were simply outstanding. We needed someone to stay at our house and care for our senior dog, who's experiencing new health challenges that require an array of medications and a lot of monitoring. Because of that, we were even considering canceling our vacation. However, after meeting them we felt immediately comfortable knowing our dog would be in good and capable hands. Rosy and Josh provided everyday updates, lots of photos, took our girl on plenty of walks and gave her the attention she's accustomed to, and needs right now. We made the right choice, and hope to use them again in the future. They're great and responsible people who really care.

Alex took great care of our young cockapoo in our home while we were away. She sent us photos and updates. She is enthusiastic and clearly loves dogs and bonded with ours. We returned from our 5 day trip to a happy, healthy pooch and a clean home! We highly recommend her!

Keeley house-sat our large, old, and cranky dog for almost a week, and she was terrific! She really got to know him and adapted her routines to make sure his needs were met. Knowing that he's very reactive with other dogs, she found a safe place for him to run and roll, something he had not been able to do in years. And because he gets anxious when he's left alone, she spent lots of time at our house (which she also took very good care of). Hire Keeley--she's great!

Jason did a great job with our dog Smokey! Smokey liked him right away, as soon as Jason walked in the door for the meet and greet. Smokey is very affectionate and Jason reacted in kind. He sent great pictures while we were gone and did a nice job taking care of the house as well. It was our first time using Rover, or any in-home dog sitter, and it’s nice to have had Jason for a solid first experience. We chose him because we saw he had so many return clients, and you can add another one to the list!

Wonderful cat sitter! I have two very sweet adult cats -- one elderly (15+yo) with diabetes and "kitty" dementia that requires a medicine pill be crushed and mixed with enticing catt slurry and watched to ensure he eats it. Shailyn immediately understood the assignment and did exactly what was required and more without prompting. She cleaned up the old cat's outside-the-litter-box accident without pause and let me know exactly when she was arriving and leaving so I could remotely set house security. Everything was perfect when I arrived home -- and both cats seemed happy and not depressed like they sometimes have when I've been out for 48 hours and someone simply steps in to feed them. Shailyn spent quality "petting" time with them as well. With old and sick cats, you can't be too careful or you'll regret it. I'll definitely rebook Shailyn next time I'll be out of town. Donna and Stephen were wonderful with my dog. They were professional and their communication exceeded my expectations. They are real animal lovers and I feel lucky to have found them!

ZuZu loves when Gabrielle house sits! When we return after a few days gone it’s as if we were only gone a hour. Everything is just as we left it and ZuZu acts as if it’s no big deal we’ve been gone.

Amazing job and quality of care

Rebeca did a great job house sitting for us while we were out of town! Our dog is normally slow to warm up to people but she really opened up to Rebeca very quickly. She obviously cares a lot about pets, was proactive about confirming appointments and did a great job communicating with us and giving updates during her stay. We look forward to having Rebeca watch Izzy again in the future. Thanks!

Tiffany was such a lovely house sitter, and I could tell that my boys had a wonderful time with her. I got so many photos and updates of walks and meal times and felt so reassured that everything was fine at home while we were away. I won't hesitate to use Tiffany again.

Ryan was great! He stayed overnight with my pets and kept them happy and healthy. Several of my pets get medications which he had no problem giving. I really appreciated all of the photos and updates he provided as well.

Iwona and her husband took great care of our house and our two dogs! The dogs enjoyed their walks and snuggles. We would love to book them again in the future!

Calvin (our dog!) was really excited to see Michael when he arrived. When we returned 4 hours later, he was happy to see us, but clearly was completely relaxed about our having left him for so long. This was the first time we’ve gone out to dinner in Chicago since we adopted Calvin 9 months ago! We’ve been working on his separation anxiety, and having Michael stay with him worked just great!
