Dog Boarding in Poplar Grove

This was only the second time our pup stayed with Sumer, but he clearly had a blast—the moment we pulled up to her house he knew exactly where he was and couldn’t wait to get inside! He had absolutely zero separation anxiety about us leaving him, and didn’t even notice us departing because he was too busy having a blast with his knew friends. Sumer’s the best!

Emily and Thomas provided an easy going and welcoming home to my 10 yr old chihuahua mix, Buddy. I seldom need to board Buddy and he is seldom away from me. I could tell that he immediately felt comfortable and safe with them and their small dog. Emily sent daily photos with updates on how Buddy was doing, especially his eating patterns. Buddy can show signs of anxiety by reluctance to eat. But he immediately felt safe to eat his food from the first day in their home. That was very reassuring to me and spoke volumes about his trust of Emily and Thomas and their home.

Theresa provided regular updates and photos to include specifics about how our girl was doing. This certainly allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation. We definitely recommend Theresa, and plan on using her care again!

As always Traci is a pleasure to deal with and my Tootsie has a wonderful time visiting. I never worry or have any guilt leaving my baby with Tootsie and her family. I ‘m so happy to have found her!

This is our 2nd time sending our dog Max to Mary's, this time for a quick weekend trip. Because of our great experience the first time around, I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her this time around. He settled in immediately and had tons of attention, and Mary always sends pics and updates. Again, a really great experience!

Coco had a wonderful time! Tanya was wonderful with Coco and really enjoys watching and keeping dogs. I’ve already booked with her again and I will continue to go to her for Coco. Highly Recommended!!!

She is wonderful , she went far beyond any expectations I had. Reggie wasn’t feeling well once I left him with her, we figured anxiety. She took care of Reggie, constantly giving me updates on his care. She is just awesome. Help me by training Reggie in how to react while I use my walker. I was not expecting that from her. I’m so glad I found her, Reggie just loves her. In a nut shell, K you far exceeded my expectations with your care for Reggie. I would give more stars if it was possible. Thanks again. And I know now who to book for next time.

Deanne & her family are such great people with our pups! We current have 4 pups, a giant breed, 2 lg breed & a med breed. Over the years Deanne has welcomed & cared for seven of our pups and I would never hesitate to ask her again and again. One of our pups is a rescue and we were not sure how he would be but Otis was welcomed & he was very comfortable! Thank you, Deanne & family! From Tracy, Russ, Tom, Alli & Kieli Malia and of course our pups, past - Harley, Payton & Abby. Our current - Thor, Loki, Kona & Otis Campbell. And our future .........

Natiia and her family took care of my pups for about 2 weeks. Her and her family loved them like their own. I know they were in good hands and put me at ease during my vacation.

Amazing family! Joe and Shalyn gave our dog River the best vacation ever. They were very caring and attentive. And their two wonderful girls were the best at giving River all the cuddles and affection. Bonus, River got to play a lot and bond with their dog Sadie. It was a perfect set up that made River feel at home and have lots of fun. 🤩 She will definitely miss Sadie and the family, and will be looking forward to her next vacation with them.

Chris and Dan were awesome taking care of our dog for almost a week. It was our first time leaving our dog with someone else. Initially we were worried but our dog was happy and they took care of her really well. I would highly recommend them. I would definitely use them in the future.

Ashley did a great job looking after our baby girl while we had a wedding to go to! We really appreciated the regular updates with pictures/videos she gave us of Winnie, that also helped reassure us because it’s always a little hard to leave her alone with someone new, but Winnie had the best time!

Honestly the best host we have had for our girls! Samantha is very kind and responsive. She has a beautiful and very clean home. Would highly recommend!

Julia is so great with Mozzie :) when we went to pick him up he’d already been on a long walk and fell asleep in the car on the way home! We will be back again (and again!)

Angel was great and gave Smokey lots of love while I was gone. Her partner ran with Smokey and they were very good with communicating. Highly recommend!

Meredith has been our number one choice to care for our very high energy GSD/ACD mix. It has been so much easier to leave our pup with someone for one week or more (and very last minute) when they keep you updated with photos and updates on how our pup is spending her time. Since our dog has been in transition with her training, it has been critical for us to find someone who will keep safety boundaries above all else with other dogs and also wants to know what she can do to make the stay easier for both us and the dog. 100% recommend her to everyone and anyone who gets an insane amount of anxiety leaving their dog anywhere even if it was overnight. She keeps them happy, and safe.

Brandi took great care of our dog. He can be a bit stubborn at times and he has trouble getting around, but Brandi was able to help him as needed and was able to gain his trust. I will definitely rebook with Brandi next time we have a weekend away.

Jacquelin did an awesome job taking care of Harley. She communicated with me daily and even sent us pictures. She is defanitly great as a pet sitter.
