House Sitting in River Grove

Diane has house sat for us twice and cared for our two golden retrievers. She takes wonderful care of our pets and our house and is always flexible and communicative. We are very lucky to have her help.

Coleen is AMAZING! As a Rover sitter myself, she is my go-to for my own pets. She provides frequent/detailed updates and pics, and is awesome with our pets meds, even though they are often fickle. Can't recommend her highly enough!

This man is the most patient, dedicated, and loving sitter you could hope for! We have two dogs, both with weird quirks and the GSD is reactive to new people so needs several meetings to get comfortable. During our first meeting, I was surprised he didn't walk out. She barked and lunged and took a long time to warm up to him and if he was scared he didn't show it. Just patience and persistence and some jokes. We needed him to stay with both dogs while my family went on a trip to Ireland for 12 nights so if I couldn't find someone that could get past her first impression, I wouldn't be able to go. Ray came every day the week of Thanksgiving and every day I was back in town leading up to our trip at Christmas to spend time with both dogs and get to know their routines. I had given him a 6 page document of routines and commands and instructions and he came back each day with notes and questions like he'd been studying for a final exam. By the time we left for our trip I felt confident our dogs would be great in his care and wasn't disappointed. He sent photos and videos of them playing each day and he got them to both eat full meals every day which is hard even for us to do sometimes. Truly a gem of a human and dog carer. So lucky we found him and will definitely use him again when we can!

Did a great job of watching the house and pets, including a last minute medical need due to an emergency medical procedure about one week before we were gone. She was willing to help out with administering medicine even though we hadn't originally anticipated that was a need, and also kept our plants watered- thank you so much!

We are so happy to have found Liz to watch our dogs. She was great with them and knew how to handle them. She sent great pics of them and kept us up to date. We will use her again! So glad we found Rover!

Miagros took great care of my two pups! She house sat for us twice. Once for a week and recently for a couple nights. Both times our house looked well kept just as we left it. We really appreciate her. Plus our little guys love her!!

Joanna again took great care of our girls and our home. She is responsible and was willing to help us with a few things we forgot on our trip. Joanna keeps us informed with pics and videos so we do get too homesick. Most importantly, Josie and Twyla are calm and happy when we get home, usually napping… a great sign

After over 10 years of dog ownership, I can say Malcomn was the best dog sitter we've ever had. I cannot wait to use him again when we travel. Our pups were so well taken care of as was our house. He was responsive and communicated often. He also took great photos of the pups. All the stars!

Miguel did an outstanding job watching our German Shephard mix, Al! From the very first interaction, meet & greet and the entire pet sit, we felt very confident choosing Miguel to dog sit for us. We got regular updates and pictures of our boy. We had one happy pup upon our return. We would happily use Miguel again to watch Al for us.
