House Sitting in Winnetka

Andrew was so great with our dog, Arlo! He sent pictures and you could tell Arlo was so happy to have him. He was great with communicating as well. We will definitely have him back again.

Samantha took great care of my pup! My pup was in such high spirits when I came home thanks to samantha! Definitely booking with her again in the future :)

Jason did a great job with our dog Smokey! Smokey liked him right away, as soon as Jason walked in the door for the meet and greet. Smokey is very affectionate and Jason reacted in kind. He sent great pictures while we were gone and did a nice job taking care of the house as well. It was our first time using Rover, or any in-home dog sitter, and it’s nice to have had Jason for a solid first experience. We chose him because we saw he had so many return clients, and you can add another one to the list!

Keeley house-sat our large, old, and cranky dog for almost a week, and she was terrific! She really got to know him and adapted her routines to make sure his needs were met. Knowing that he's very reactive with other dogs, she found a safe place for him to run and roll, something he had not been able to do in years. And because he gets anxious when he's left alone, she spent lots of time at our house (which she also took very good care of). Hire Keeley--she's great!

Alex took great care of our young cockapoo in our home while we were away. She sent us photos and updates. She is enthusiastic and clearly loves dogs and bonded with ours. We returned from our 5 day trip to a happy, healthy pooch and a clean home! We highly recommend her!

Wonderful cat sitter! I have two very sweet adult cats -- one elderly (15+yo) with diabetes and "kitty" dementia that requires a medicine pill be crushed and mixed with enticing catt slurry and watched to ensure he eats it. Shailyn immediately understood the assignment and did exactly what was required and more without prompting. She cleaned up the old cat's outside-the-litter-box accident without pause and let me know exactly when she was arriving and leaving so I could remotely set house security. Everything was perfect when I arrived home -- and both cats seemed happy and not depressed like they sometimes have when I've been out for 48 hours and someone simply steps in to feed them. Shailyn spent quality "petting" time with them as well. With old and sick cats, you can't be too careful or you'll regret it. I'll definitely rebook Shailyn next time I'll be out of town. Amazing job and quality of care

Rebeca did a great job house sitting for us while we were out of town! Our dog is normally slow to warm up to people but she really opened up to Rebeca very quickly. She obviously cares a lot about pets, was proactive about confirming appointments and did a great job communicating with us and giving updates during her stay. We look forward to having Rebeca watch Izzy again in the future. Thanks!

Katelyn is an excellent cat-sitter. She's always on time, sends lots of photos and videos, and mycat loved her.

ZuZu loves when Gabrielle house sits! When we return after a few days gone it’s as if we were only gone a hour. Everything is just as we left it and ZuZu acts as if it’s no big deal we’ve been gone.

We cannot say enough good things about Veronika (and her partner, Nikolai)! This was our second time having Veronika care for our French Bulldog, Chloe, and once again she exceeded our expectations. We were away for nine days, and Chloe has separation anxiety, so finding someone who understands her needs and can provide consistent companionship is incredibly important to us. Veronika made sure Chloe was never left alone for longer than she could comfortably handle, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. She faithfully administered Chloe’s daily medications, took her on at least three walks a day (often more), and clearly gave her lots of love, attention, and care. We received daily updates with photos and occasional videos, which were always reassuring and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable Chloe was throughout our trip. Veronika was communicative, responsive, reliable, and punctual from start to finish. We had an early flight, and she was gracious enough to accommodate our schedule without hesitation. She also went above and beyond by watering our plants and taking exceptional care of our home. We returned to a spotless apartment, and she had even washed the linens and towels she used, something we never asked her to do but deeply appreciated. Veronika is kind, thoughtful, trustworthy, and incredibly conscientious. It is obvious that she genuinely cares about the pets and families she works with. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate pet sitter. Chloe loves her, we trust her completely, and we absolutely plan to book with her again in the future. Five stars without hesitation!
