House Sitting in Hamburg

Having to choose a random person on-line to stay in the sanctity of your home and treat your animals like family is on the list of “most difficult decisions.” We moved here from out of State and don’t know anyone. We have had to start from scratch in every aspect of life. Finding the right “fit” was a massive stress and undertaking. Word of mouth didn’t apply just moving here. We relied on Rover and we found an Angel. Not to be corny, but to those whose critters are their EVERYTHING- Angel 😇 is our best description. Ryan stayed at our home for ten days. He was gracious enough to come by my home three times before the actual “job” to make friends with my neurotic Pomeranian. So when he did come to stay, it wouldn’t be such a shock to her little mind. Ryan is kind, and a gentleman. I could totally tell he has been around all sorts of dog personalities as he spoke to Peanut on her level. He fulfilled everything asked of him, with no hesitation. I have never been so pleased and so content with a petsitter in my 50 odd years of life. I’ve gone from stressing out about finding a petsitter to stressing out that Ryan retires! To our family, he is irreplaceable. We will use Ryan in the future for everything . Now that we can have a life again and can actually go places together and the places don’t have to be “dog friendly!” Finding the best petsitter is absolutely priceless. Thank you Ryan, I have a new peace in my heart ❤️

Mitzi was absolutely amazing! She watched our two Golden Retrievers and our cat while we were on vacation and stayed in our home with them. Even though she wasn’t feeling well, she still gave our pets her full attention and energy and was incredibly reliable. My pets are my children, and I truly felt like she cared for them the same way I would. She was trustworthy, respectful of our home, and gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I’ve never been able to feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs and cat at a boarding facility, which is why I always prefer having someone stay in our home. I also used to work on Rover, so I know how important it is to find someone who is genuinely attentive, responsible, and truly cares about the animals they’re watching. Mitzi went above and beyond, and I honestly could not recommend her enough. If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your pets and your home, Mitzi is absolutely the person I would recommend. I will definitely be booking with her again! Allie was great! She was wonderful with our dogs, very communicative, and sent lots of pictures and videos. We will definitely be working with her again soon!

Joanna is great! We’ve used her twice for in house animal sitting (2 dogs, 3 cats), and she always sends us pictures of our pets during the day and gives updates. She is very sweet and easy to talk to.

Ava was great and I came home to a happy dog! She sent pics and updates and I didn't have to worry one bit about being away. I'd definitely book again!

Annie is amazing! She’s kind and knowledgeable and did great with our nervous senior dog. She took the time to let Meeka warm up to her and was very patient with her. We were lucky Annie was available. My wife and I highly recommend Annie.

Jennifer did an incredible job with my dogs. One of my pups can be a little much and she handled him like a champ. I would highly recommend her and look forward to having her dog sit again in the near future

Julia was so amazing! She was great with my senior dog, who tends to be anxious and requires medication twice a day. She kept us updated with photos and messages for the entirety of our trip, which was so appreciated. I came home to an excited but relaxed dog, who’s normally visibly stressed out when I pick her up from boarding. Overall she was kind, professional, and had so much genuine care for our pets. Would absolutely recommend her!

I want to tell you she is awful ‘cause I do NOT want to share her, but I can’t. She is PHENOMENAL. Hands down above and beyond x 1,000,000. Genuine. Kind. Thorough. Goes above and beyond. I have 4 BIG dogs: Great Dane (3yo), Labrador (6yo), Lab/Golden (3yo), Lab/Hound (10yo). Left 2 with Sandy this round (Lab & Lab/Hound). I’m home now and I’m pretty sure they’ll send me off by morning and be calling Sandy back! LOL. Peace out Mom. Sandy’s the best.
