House Sitting in Sellersburg

Having to choose a random person on-line to stay in the sanctity of your home and treat your animals like family is on the list of “most difficult decisions.” We moved here from out of State and don’t know anyone. We have had to start from scratch in every aspect of life. Finding the right “fit” was a massive stress and undertaking. Word of mouth didn’t apply just moving here. We relied on Rover and we found an Angel. Not to be corny, but to those whose critters are their EVERYTHING- Angel 😇 is our best description. Ryan stayed at our home for ten days. He was gracious enough to come by my home three times before the actual “job” to make friends with my neurotic Pomeranian. So when he did come to stay, it wouldn’t be such a shock to her little mind. Ryan is kind, and a gentleman. I could totally tell he has been around all sorts of dog personalities as he spoke to Peanut on her level. He fulfilled everything asked of him, with no hesitation. I have never been so pleased and so content with a petsitter in my 50 odd years of life. I’ve gone from stressing out about finding a petsitter to stressing out that Ryan retires! To our family, he is irreplaceable. We will use Ryan in the future for everything . Now that we can have a life again and can actually go places together and the places don’t have to be “dog friendly!” Finding the best petsitter is absolutely priceless. Thank you Ryan, I have a new peace in my heart ❤️

Mitzi did an amazing job watching our golden retriever, Wrigley, while we were away for a week. She sent updates with photos daily, and made sure Wrigley was well taken care of. He’s a very energetic, anxious pup and she was able to manage him very well. I can tell he has made a great friend. We will definitely be asking her to return for future sitting needs!

Kaitlyn is a five star pet and house sitter. She took excellent care of our precious ones, one of whom is an elder girl! House was as we left it: clean and laundered bed linen. Excellent communication was prompt with pictures and videos. We will certainly be calling upon Kaitlyn again for our travels. We vouch for her dependable and trustworthy recent experience in our home and with our girls!

Ava did an excellent job sitting for my cat, Boots! She was super communicative, administered his meds without a problem, and took the time to spend time with him during drop ins. I would definitely book her again!

If I could give Annie 10 stars I would! She was so incredible to our two pups. She sent a ton of updates, photos and videos throughout her stay. She even informed me about their eating napping and potty status which was so appreciated! Her communication skills are absolutely outstanding! She treated our pups so well that they will want us to leave again soon just so Annie can come back! She is truly amazing!!!!!!!

Lauren was great. She did everything like I asked. The pets all looked very relaxed with her. She left the house spotless. Thank you Lauren!

Allie was great with our pup! We will DEFINITELY have her back.

Gabriele was a wonderful, loving, attentive caregiver for our furry girls.

Ross did an incredible job and took the best care of Cooper. He sent me updated pictures throughout the day to let me know how Cooper was doing and adjusting. It was so nice knowing that Cooper was in such good hands. We have already rebooked with him and will continue to do so.

Kristi was fabulous! She gave great updates and we felt certain our boy was with the best sitter possible. Will absolutely be booking again!

Emily went above and beyond for me! Made sure Bubba (my large, sometimes obnoxious dog) was so well cared for and loved while I was gone! She handled him amazingly when he got to be a bit difficult. Will definitely be using her again! Highly recommend.

Julia was so amazing! She was great with my senior dog, who tends to be anxious and requires medication twice a day. She kept us updated with photos and messages for the entirety of our trip, which was so appreciated. I came home to an excited but relaxed dog, who’s normally visibly stressed out when I pick her up from boarding. Overall she was kind, professional, and had so much genuine care for our pets. Would absolutely recommend her!

Penny was wonderful. She kept us updated the whole time and didn’t hesitate to ask questions. She even checked in to make sure we made it Home for our pups in case something happened and we needed her. 10/10 would recommend. We’re going to try and use her every time we travel!
