Dog Boarding in Yorktown

Repeat customer. Steve offers a second home for Sheriff. When we are traveling, we know that our dog is in very good hands. Steve is also flexible and comprehensive when there is a change of plans and schedules.

This was Sophie's third stay with John and we will definitely book again. John is caring and compassionate and we love having Sophie stay with him.

My dog, Chai T Latte, stayed with Sarah for a week. When we arrived to pick him up he acted protective of her, which let me know he liked her. He was very excited to come home. He did smell different, but when you leave your dog at someone else’s house for an extended period of time, it happens. It wasnt a surprise to me. A quick bath and he was back to smelling like himself. He is a white dog and came home looking the same as he did when I dropped him off 7 days before. He had a few spots of dirt, but she walked him and it was snowy/rainy. Again - not a big deal. I am glad she made sure he got exercise and attention. I told her the commands he knew and he came home still obedient. He was fed, loved, exercised, and cared for while we were gone and I appreciate that. Knowing he wasn’t locked in a kennel brought me joy. This was the first time Chai was away for us for longer than a few nights. He acted a little weird the first night we got him back, but he didn’t know what had happened or why he had been with a stranger or why he was suddenly home again. The next morning he was back to acting like himself. I understand why people would give the reviews they did - but in experiencing similar things, it doesn’t feel that deep to me. Leave your dog with a family member if you can’t handle your dog smelling different or having a little dirt on them at the end of a stay. I love my dog very much. The earlier reviews made me nervous to leave him, but I am glad I did. Sarah cared for him and sent me updates when I texted her. I am happy overall.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with the amazing care Alexis gave our Australian Shepherd, Dooley, while we were away for nine days. From the moment we booked with her, Alexis went above and beyond in every way. She stayed in constant contact, sending daily updates, sweet pictures, and thoughtful notes that gave us total peace of mind. This was our first Rover experience (we normally board him at the veterinarian office, but no availability). Dooley can be a little particular, but he clearly felt right at home and thrived under her care. Alexis kept his routine, made sure he got plenty of love and activity, and treated him like one of her own. She even made a personalized Father’s Day video from Dooley to my husband—such an incredibly thoughtful surprise that meant the world to us! Alexis is responsible, kind, communicative, and clearly a natural with animals. We are beyond pleased and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for top-tier pet care. Britny and her hubby are fantastic. Zeus is a high energy shepherd. They gave him plenty of play time. Even bought a baby pool, which he loved. We were sent pictures and text updates almost every day. Anytime I sent a text, Britny returned it quickly. In the past, Zeus had not done well being boarded. I'm thrilled to have found a place that is his new home while we're away from home. He came home clean, happy, and with everything we sent. I cannot thank them enough!

We highly recommend Gabriel! He was loving and took great care of our dog. We got daily videos or pictures and feedback as well as a thorough report when we picked her up. The home was beautiful and welcoming too! Our dog enjoyed her mini vacation!

Kylie was great and sent messages and pictures to update us on how our dog was doing. She was very responsive and helpful when we came back early to pick up before the snow storm. I would definitely book with Kylie again!

Courtnie was absolutely wonderful! Very sweet, attentive, and clearly loves dogs. I was away for 8 days, and she took such great care of him the entire time. She sent frequent photos and videos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. She has a yard, and my puppy had the best time playing—he came back so happy (and so tired that he slept for two days straight!). She also handled everything really well, including some minor potty training mishaps (he sometimes misses the pads). I felt totally comfortable leaving my puppy with her. Highly recommend!

Monika A. was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed the photo of our Winston and the twice daily updates on him. There was a horrible rain and thunderstorm while he was there. Winston literally convulses during them & fireworks and he's a nervous wreck so it's difficult to comfort him. She did the best she could which is what he needed as he was a happy camper when we picked him up this morning. We highly recommend Monika and we will definitely hire her again!

Bethany did an amazing job watching my cat, Annie! She was super reliable, kind, and gave Annie lots of attention and care. I could tell my cat was comfortable and well taken care of while I was away. I’d definitely trust Bethany again and highly recommend her to anyone needing a great pet sitter!

I just want to start by saying Thank you to Hillary and her family. This was a last min booking and her and her family were willing to help us out. She was super sweet and very understanding, Wrigley is a high energy puppy and needs a lot of attention. Hilary was so easy to connect with, she would text me pics throughout the week and send me updates, that meant a lot to us. Hilary lives on a lot of land/farm and had other dogs which was amazing for Wrigley!! She said she took Wrigley for walks and she loved playing with her other dogs!! I give her 5 stars and would recommend her!! Hopefully Wrigley will be welcomed back in the future!

Christina and her family were the perfect sitters for our dog. She did not hesitate to accommodate our dog's need to be the only dog in the house. At drop off, she asked questions to be sure that our dog would be comfortable in their home. Christina's children are well trained dog sitters as well! They were gentle and gave our dog loads of love and attention. Christina sent pics every day which helped us feel good about how our dog was doing. We highly recommend Christina and will definitely book with her again.
