Dog Boarding in Dayton

I am so grateful to Katie for being able to take a last minute boarding booking due to an emergency. She is so great and I always feel good about her taking care of my baby!!

Kelti and Tanner were amazing and we will definitely use them again to watch Finn! They responded ultra fast to our last minute request and were happy to schedule a meet and greet on such short notice as well. They welcomed Finn into their family like he was their own and we were so grateful to leave him in great hands. I had zero worries at all, especially receiving a photo every day while we were away. We are so grateful to have them close by and recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter!

This was our first time using DogVacay and I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the first communication from Karen put me completely at ease. She was very responsive and helpful when I reached out to her, and was flexible about our schedule when our dates changed to drop off our pup. And we could not have been happier with the experience we and our dog had with Karen. She clearly knows her way around dogs. When we dropped off our pup, she had us walk down the block a little ways and brought her own dog out after us - her strategy to get them used to each other in a before our dog entered another dog's home territory. It made a lot of sense and seemed to work really well. Karen has a fenced in backyard and a dog-loving family. She sent us text and photo updates, and when I called to check in about when we would pick up our pup, Karen filled me in on everything he'd been up to. When we picked him up, she even showed us some training techniques (he is a young dog who is still learning how to walk without pulling). Our dog had clearly been very happy at Karen's home, and was pleasantly tired out from several days of play. If you need to board your dog in the Cincinnati area, we HIGHLY recommend Karen!

Stuart and Traci were AMAZING pet sitters; we know our dog was very loved on while we were gone. They sent us lots of videos and pictures and we know our pup loved staying with them and had a great time!

Susan took great care of Maverick and Poppy! She took the extra care needed for Maverick with his sensitivity to thunderstorms. Poppy was a little apprehensive at first but Susan was able to win her over and she settled right in within an hour! Highly recommend Susan!!

Madison was an amazing dog sitter for my 3 year old doodle. She took him on regular walks, made sure he felt at ease, and sent me daily pictures. She was very responsive during the booking process and had a meet and greet before I dropped him off to go on vacation. I would absolutely recommend her to others looking for a sitter.

Look no further for your pet sitting dream team, Tasha and Joseph are the cream of the crop! We left our Penelope with them for several days and were over the moon with the level of care, flexibility, and understanding that they provided. Truly, there isn’t a better sitter out there!

Jenny did amazing with my Teddy! Sent me pics of their walks everyday! I know he had so much fun and was well taken care of. I will definitely book with her next time I go out of town.

Taylor and her boyfriend are great & easy to communicate with, and our dog Papi staid 2 weeks with them and he was happy and healthy when we returned, plus he made a new friend with Taylor’s dog Shilo. Def recommending!

Monte was absolutely wonderful with Gracie, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch her. From the start, Monte was attentive, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure Gracie was comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Gracie was content when I returned, which says everything—you can tell she was in great hands. Monte was communicative, thoughtful, and treated her like his own, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I would wholeheartedly recommend Monte to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible dog sitter. Gracie and I are both very grateful!

Cori is the best! The daily updates felt so organic, like we were just chatting about my dog and how she was doing. I could tell on the pictures she sent me how well her and her husband were taking care of my baby. A huge plus was that it was my dog’s bday during that time and she made her a special “bday cake” with peanut butter and her food. 100% recommend leaving your fur babies with her.

This was our first time using Rover for our small dog Charlie. Kimberely did an amazing job, she kept us posted with tons of photos and updates. I really appreciated all of her communication. I will certainly book a stay with her again. She specializes in small dogs and Charlie is small so that was also a huge plus. Highly recommend!!

I would highly recommend William and Haley. It was my first time leaving my 8 month golden retriever Finn with anyone. I have never been away from him. William made me feel like it was going to be ok. Lots of pictures with Finn playing with their dogs. A fenced back yard for the dogs to run. They gave Finn all the attention he needed. They loved Finn like he was there own. Highly recommend them. Thanks Bill and Family.

Our dog Bratwurst always has a great time when he stays with Amir! Amir is so great with our dog and keeps us updated while we are away. Would highly recommend working with Amir if anyone needs great care for their pet!

Bradley accepted our request for boarding literally 12 hr before we had to drop them off. The original caretaker and thier family came down with the flu and was hospitalized. Bradley had no issues taking on BOTH of my dogs. On top of that my notoriously snob of a dog didnt offer him even a moment of hesitation! She was comfortable with him the moment she crossed the threshold. He even provided updates and photos throughout thier stay. We will definitely use Bradley again!

My experience with Leeann was absolutely amazing. I had to have emergency surgery and had to quickly find someone for my dog. I am so glad I chose Leeann. She was so kind and flexible with me because I wasn't sure how long I would really need her. She took such great care of my girl, sending me pictures and videos. I was nervous at first because I knew she would be watching other dogs, and that concerned me. But my dog was basically at doggie day care every day living her best life! It made a very stressful situation so much easier. And I swear, she came back a calmer dog lol. Thank you, Leeann!

Corey was great to work with! He was responsive to messages, sent pictures and gave updates on how our boy, Arlo was doing during his stay! He accommodated our slightly challenging travel schedule that made drop off later than we anticipated, which was very much appreciated! If we’re in the area we would have our dog stay with him again!
