House Sitting in Shakertown

I can't say enough praise for Sandra who did 4 overnights with my 3 kitties! She is the only sitter on Rover who has taken the time to stay with the kitties rather than dropping in for a few minutes to put food out and leave. She followed the feeding instructions, asked questions, and showed care for the house. It's clear from the photos my kitties loved her, felt safe with her, and she spent quality time with them. I haven't seen them warm up to anyone besides me in this way. It was comforting to know they were being cared for and this allowed me to focus on my work trip. Everyone was content when returning. I would recommend Sandra and am thankful for her.

Dyanne was amazing house sitting our 3 cats and outside cats! She kept in touch morning and evening, sent pictures, and gave our senior cat her meds. Very professional, and would recommend her!

Kat was amazing with our pets! In the past, we would kennel them, but they would come home so stressed. This time, when we got home, the dogs were very relaxed. Kat was put in an impossibly difficult situation with the passing of our elderly cat while we were away, and she handled it with grace and compassion. We appreciate her kindness beyond measure.

Casey is an amazing pet sitter! She has watched my pets in my home while I was away. She was easy to work with, the dogs and kitten loved her! She took great care of them and I highly recommend her and will definitely be asking for her again!

Kayla cared for and loved on LoLo while I attended my Daughter's wedding in Italy. I had recently adopted LoLo from an animal rescue and was extremely nervous about leaving her as she was just getting used to me and her new environment. Kayla kept me updated and sent photos every day putting my mind at ease so I could enjoy the trip and the wedding festivities without worrying about my fur baby.

She is absolutely the best! I received daily photos of the puppies having such a good time with her. The house was immaculate when I came home and the pups were so happy. I kinda don’t want to tell anybody about her because she’s soooo good and I don’t want her to get too busy but honestly any pet would be honored to have her care for them. Micah did a wonderful job again caring for our little ones. We felt very comfortable knowing he was there to care for them. We will book him again in the future!!

Misty did a great job sitting with our cat! She was in constant communication with us. We returned home to a happy and well cared for cat. We would love to use Misty again.

I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy. From start to finish, he went above and beyond in every possible way. Before even dog sitting, he took the time to meet my dogs and my cat, which immediately made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my pets in his care. While I was away, Jimmy was incredibly communicative and kind. He sent daily photos and updates, which truly put my mind at ease and showed how attentive and loving he was with my pets. It was clear they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. When I returned home, I was honestly blown away. Not only were my pets perfectly taken care of, but my house was spotless. He cleaned the house, did the dishes, and even made my bed — something I never expected and appreciated more than I can say. Jimmy is trustworthy, thoughtful, and genuinely cares. We will 100% be using him again in the future, and I wouldn’t want anyone else watching my pets besides him. If you’re considering Jimmy as a sitter, don’t hesitate — he is truly one of a kind.
