House Sitting in Harahan

Wasn’t easy leaving my 7 year old dog with all his quirks with his newly adopted brother of only 2 weeks with a stranger. But Justin did a great job! House was still standing and dogs were alive. Such a relief!

Cody stayed at our place for a couple days to take care of our two cats. They loved Cody and were very relaxed when we returned. We got regular updates and pictures which made us feel comfortable. We will definitely have Cody sit for us again!

Karen took such wonderful care of our pups and home for a whole week! She sent tons of updates and pics. One of our pups is very hard to deal with (not the friendliest with new people), but she somehow managed to win him over. We will definitely book with her again. We highly recommend her :)

My fiance and I are first time users of Rover. We were so nervous to have someone stay in our home but Cheryl was absolutely fantastic!! We've since booked her for two more trips to come pup sit in our home. She updated me throughout the weekend on how our dogs were doing! She even cleaned our home (our dogs are major shedders)! I can't thank Cheryl enough for watching and loving our pups!! If you book with her, you won't regret it!! She's the best!!

Ms Claire was so patient and gentle with our deaf, mostly blind senior pup. She weathered a storm with him, took care of some unforeseen issues, and was a very respectful and considerate house guest. She even left a small gift for me upon leaving! We are so grateful to have a reliable and caring sitter for our old man, and we highly recommend Claire!

Alex was outstanding. She took the time to come over for a meet and greet before the booking. While she was at our place, she sent regular pictures and updates of our cat and dog. She also asked about preferences for our dog specifically, which I really appreciated since our sweet pitbull is quite heat intolerant in the NOLA summers! Alex was sensitive to taking her on walks when it was cool outside. She even did laundry and cleaned up when she left. Really went above and beyond. Highly recommend Alex to watch your fur babies while you are away!

Nikoleta was SO good with our very young puppy. I am so grateful she was so flexible in her schedule. She did a fantastic job and I would definitely use her again!

Carly was an amazing cat and house sitter! She communicates wonderfully and took the best care of our cat, Pixie. She sent plenty of photos and it was clear that before the weekend was up, Pixie had a new best friend (Carly of course!). We came home to a happy cat and a clean house :) We absolutely would re-book with Carly in the future!

She was amazing. She sent pictures and videos of the pups everyday. Also let us know when she was coming and going to let us know she was not leaving them alone for any long period of time. One of my dogs is a handful and she completely embraced his craziness. I cam home and the house was the same as we left it, and the dogs were happy puppies. My older pit used to get very sad for weeks if we put her in a kennel. It was a great surprise to see her just as happy as we left her. Will 100% use her again.

Erin was fantastic watching Ziggy for a few days while we were out of town. She sent daily photos and took great care of Ziggy and our home. Would highly recommend!

Ali was WONDERFUL with our dogs!! While visiting New Orleans from out of town, we found our normally calm dogs were beyond anxious to be left alone in an unfamiliar place. Ali was able to come over on VERY short notice, love on our two pups, and assure that we were able to have a worry-free evening out! Both of our dogs were immediately comfortable with her and she updated us with how they were doing throughout the night! I would definitely recommend Ali to anyone, she kept our boys happy

Elizabeth is the best! We hate leaving our fur and feathered babies but we can have complete peace of mind when they are in Elizabeth’s care. She is responsible, communicative and amazing with animals. Our babies love her and so do we. Bonus she sends us amazing pics throughout our trips of our happy pets.

Thank you, Dani for taking such great care of my baby boy. He is a special case, with particular needs and you are so attentive and you provided constant communication with me while I was out of the country. I will definitely be calling Dani to watch my boy again! ❤️

Haley was an excellent pet sitter for our dog and two cats. She was conscientious, kept us updated, and we returned to happy animals!

This was a very long time for me to be away from my dogs and cat (8 days) and Lydia made my trip 1000xs better by ensuring my animals were safe and well taken care of. This was the second time I had her take care of my animals and she is amazing (she now comes by weekly for quick check-ins). She sends updates on how everyone is doing, gives meds to one of my dogs without a problem, and is so patient with my reactive dog. I no longer feel anxious about leaving town. My animals are like family to me and Lydia takes such good care of them all! I couldn’t recommend her more!
