House Sitting in Harahan

My fiance and I are first time users of Rover. We were so nervous to have someone stay in our home but Cheryl was absolutely fantastic!! We've since booked her for two more trips to come pup sit in our home. She updated me throughout the weekend on how our dogs were doing! She even cleaned our home (our dogs are major shedders)! I can't thank Cheryl enough for watching and loving our pups!! If you book with her, you won't regret it!! She's the best!!

Claire did such a great job with Max during Hurricane Francine. Before I left she confirmed an evacuation plan with me and kept me updated while I was gone. I really appreciated her making me feel at ease during a stressful time.

As always, Ryan was the absolute best with my dogs. He managed an entire weekend of house sitting and kept up with great communication. If he’s available when you need a sitter or anything for your pets, I highly recommend you take advantage of the opportunity. My pets enjoy his company, and he keeps up with even the little things around the house.

Caitlin was such an amazing professional from the moment we met her! We have never used the rover dog sitting services before, and we were honestly a bit nervous about allowing a complete stranger to stay in our home to watch our baby Ryu while we were on a vacation for a few days. Ryu is an older dog and we preferred to keep him comfortable at home rather than leaving him at a dog boarding facility. Caitlyn made us feel so comfortable and offered to do an initial meet and greet with us at home before we agreed to hire her to watch our baby and entrust her with our home. Ryu gravitated to her right away! While we were on vacation she did such a great job of keeping us updated with pictures and stories of Ryu’s day. She had so much patience with him even as he had separation anxiety and had a few diarrhea accidents in the house. I can’t say enough great things about Caitlin! We’re so lucky to have met her and thankful that she has such a special connection with animals! Ryu thanks you too!!

Olivia is amazing. Went above and beyond while staying in our home and caring for our 4 energetic pups. Highly recommend her services. You wont regret it!

Caroline stayed in our home for 5 nights. This was our first time using Rover and I would definitely book Caroline again to care for our dogs. She sent daily pics. of our boys, which were great to see while we were away .

A last minute cancellation by our old pet sitter left me scrambling to find someone to stay at my home with my energetic 90 pound golden retriever and my two cats, one who hates everyone and one who is diabetic and lame. Jessica came to meet my animals and brought her adorable dog, Poppy, at my request. My dog loved Poppy and Jessica took notes on everything we needed. She kept my fur babies for a week, sending pics and updates and any questions she had. I was able to relax knowing she was taking excellent care of my pets. I got home to a spotless house and 3 very happy animals. Jessica will be my first contact whenever I need a pet sitter from now on.

Carly did a wonderful job with our pup while we were traveling. She is a proactive communicator and sent lots of great pics throughout our trip. It was great to trust that our pet and home were in good hands. We highly recommend Carly and will definitely be repeat customers.

Chloe was absolutely phenomenal. She sat with my dogs for a week and she was flexible with changing dates. She didn’t just care for my dogs, they were loved as if I didn’t even leave. Constant communication and updates provide peace of mind that the pups aren’t just sat with, but they’re feeling all the love. I will absolutely be rebooking with Chloe, she’s 10/10. If you’re looking for an amazing sitter, you’ve found her!

Ms. Karen was thorough and loved on our babies like they were her own. Thank you again for your excellent care and services! Our babies loved you and we felt comfortable and safe with them in your hands! ❤️

Hannah was great with our pets (they were very mellow and anxiety-free when we returned!) and had great communication.

Cody stayed at our place for a couple days to take care of our two cats. They loved Cody and were very relaxed when we returned. We got regular updates and pictures which made us feel comfortable. We will definitely have Cody sit for us again!

Five stars is not enough for Olivia! She is super easy to talk to, and you can tell from your first interaction she loves what she does—loves animals! I could tell when I got home our golden was WELL loved and taken care of. She even brought her two dogs for him to make friends with (confirmed with us it was ok, of course). They had the best time from all the pics/updates she sent. We can’t recommend Olivia more!🤍🤍

Megan was wonderful! She provides great communication and left the house spotless. Our puppies definitely were happy to have her company while we were away!

This is the second time Adia has watched our Noah. We have zero worries when we are away. Our dog is happy and our home is taken care of. Will always try to rebook.

Adam has taken care of our beloved cat, Gonzi and stayed at our home many times over the last several years. Once again, they were a wonderful carer and sitter. Martha has taken care of Cruzi at our house several times now, and he gets so happy every time she’s sat with him! Would highly recommend Martha to our friends and would definitely have her watch Cruzi again
