House Sitting in Metairie

Elise is wonderful with my dogs! I have 2 older dogs, one super friendly and one that’s more anxious that takes time to get used to people. They have both been taken care of and it shows. And their routine isn’t interrupted at all. Elise updates me often and does their favorite things with them, taking them on walks and playing fetch with them. I couldn’t recommend her more!

This was our first time having someone house sit our three dogs, so I was definitely a little nervous about it, especially since one of our dogs has pretty severe anxiety. Ms. Karen was amazing and really put us at ease! She was super communicative, followed our instructions, and sent us lots of updates throughout the stay. She was also very observant and picked up on the little things with each of our dogs, which we really appreciated. The preparation prior to the stay and the communication and updates during the stay greatly reassured us. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing the pups were well taken cared of. She even went above and beyond and cleaned up before leaving, which was definitely not expected but so appreciated as it made returning easier. We felt like our dogs and home were in really good hands. We will absolutely have her sit for us again!

Kelly was great with our dogs! She sent lots of pictures and kept us updated through the day. She was gracious enough to check in after her scheduled time because of a flight delay on our end. Would use again!

Lucy was an excellent dog & housesitter. She took great care of our pup and our house, and we hope she will be available next time we need a sitter :)

Alex is the best, I recommend her to anyone. She watched our baby when needed and is the only one we trust to stay at our home and take care of her.

Carly was an amazing cat and house sitter! She communicates wonderfully and took the best care of our cat, Pixie. She sent plenty of photos and it was clear that before the weekend was up, Pixie had a new best friend (Carly of course!). We came home to a happy cat and a clean house :) We absolutely would re-book with Carly in the future!

This was a very long time for me to be away from my dogs and cat (8 days) and Lydia made my trip 1000xs better by ensuring my animals were safe and well taken care of. This was the second time I had her take care of my animals and she is amazing (she now comes by weekly for quick check-ins). She sends updates on how everyone is doing, gives meds to one of my dogs without a problem, and is so patient with my reactive dog. I no longer feel anxious about leaving town. My animals are like family to me and Lydia takes such good care of them all! I couldn’t recommend her more!

I can’t say enough things about Emily. My 4.5 yr old Lab Dexter needed a friend to stay with him while we were attending my daughter’s wedding. During our stay Dexter was having a hard time settling in our temporary stay. Lucky for us Emily was available at the last moment, she responded very quickly. They had walks, Dexter was fed and Emily sent several pics and texts while we were having a great time at my daughter’s wedding. Mind you this was my first time using Rover, and I am extremely happy I found Emily. Don’t forget to give her the WiFi password ?

Elizabeth watched our dogs and our house over the holidays. She was very communicative during the stay. We came back to happy dogs and a clean home. Would book again!

E was FANTASTIC with our two kittens. I was so worried leaving them for the first time but E sent daily pics and updates which really eased our minds. Couldn’t recommend more!

I’ve used rover a lot and I’ve had many pet sitters for cats and dogs. Macie is truly the best. My normally timid cats were so relaxed, and she kept us in the loop the whole time. I’d be thrilled to have her watch my pets again!
