House Sitting in Acton

What a relaxing trip we had knowing that Eric was staying in our home and caring for Trixie (dog) and Ollie (cat)! Eric kept us updated each day with pictures and texts. Trixie was especially pleased with Eric’s frisbee throwing ability! We look forward to the next time he pet sits for us!

Hands down the best. Kerri is awesome; she cares about my buddy Milo like he is her own dog. Communication is excellent. Kerri has earned our trust, and we are delighted.

Anindita stayed with our dog for a week and did an excellent job. She communicated very well throughout the stay, kept us updated, and was thoughtful about bringing anything important to our attention. It gave us peace of mind knowing our dog and home were in good hands. We came home to the house in good shape and really appreciated the care she gave throughout the week. Highly recommend her!

Finley loved and pampered our fur family while we were on vacation. He routinely sent us photos in which our dog and cat looked calm and happy. Our dog can be reactive to other dogs, but Finley handled everything like a pro!

Traci did a great job keeping our puppy violet company while we were out for the evening. She followed all of our rules and was communicative when we were asking questions. She made sure she was fed and had enough exercise. We will definitely be using Traci again soon!

Rachel always does a wonderful job. She is kind and caring with the animals. She is exceptionally responsible. She made sure everything was in order during the recent blizzard even when the people in charge of snow plowing let me down.

My wife and I were going away, but our primary and backup dog sitters were not available. A friend recommended Rover.com, and from there we found Danyel. It's clear she loves animals, and her experience and positive reviews gave us confidence she would take great care of our dog. She did, even when he got sick during the sit. She kept him company, played with him, walked him, and fed him his special food for when he's sick. She also cleaned up after him, and washed his dog laundry. She took great care of our dog. She regularly updated us about our dog, and sent photos. We also appreciated Danyel's flexibility with our return time. She checked with us when we'd be back. She happened to be available, so we booked additional time so we didn't have to rush home. Thank you Danyel!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zannah. It was obvious from our first meeting how caring and kind she would be with Rosie. Zannah sent frequent updates, took Rosie on walks and true adventures, and is so easy to talk to! Rosie can get a little anxious when she senses we are leaving but she was so calm around Zannah - we are so grateful to have found her!!

Katie was an amazing sitter for my four furbabies while I was away! She took great care of them, sent lots of updates, and I felt totally comfortable leaving them in

Wendy was great with housesitting and caring for our dog Bindi as well as our cat and plants. She was responsive, easy-going, and attentive. Thank you Wendy!

Hannah is great with my dog, always making sure she’s exercised and comfortable! Even though my dog is reactive on walks and takes some time to warm up to people, Hannah has done a great job making sure she’s comfortable and able to thrive while I’m away. She went above and beyond before her first stay to make sure everyone was comfortable!

Nikki was outstanding. She took wonderful care of our two dogs, one of which is very anxious with new people, and quickly warmed up to Nikki. We felt very reassured and comforted by all of the communication and photos while we were away. We can't wait to have Nikki back. We highly recommend her.

Megan is very reliable and committed. She came for a meet n greet with our anxious guy and things went great. When she came for the sit, however, our dog could not settle down and barked at her non-stop - hiding under the table. We have no idea why he reacted this way as he has had many successful Rover sits (including overnights) with numerous sitters. Despite the barking and and stress of the situation, Megan stuck with our pup. She could have bailed, but she tried everything she could to help him calm down. It was a multi-day sit, so she even came back for another supervised visit to try and help our dude adjust to her. It got better, though, I think never truly settled. Nevertheless, she stuck it out and was a good communicator throughout. We really appreciated her persistence and care for our guy even though it turned out not to be the best fit between them. Reliability so important and you can count on Megan.

Tom was very communicative and friendly, and he took wonderful care of our two 11-year-old labs. I would highly recommend his services. Thanks Tom!
