Dog Boarding in Essex

Another great stay for our pup with Lindsay and her family. Honestly, we were a little worried our dog would be bummed out when we came to pick him up. It's like dog camp. Linday's dog Tilly is as welcoming a host as Lindsay.

Donna is the greatest! She is so reliable, kind, and trustworthy. We have used her twice now and have had great experiences everytime. She sends you photos, promptly responds when you ask for updates and is very patient with the dogs. Would absolutely recommend her.

My dog, Cooper, was originally booked for an 8 night stay with Rebeca, but because of the impending snowstorm, we had to leave early for our trip and return later. Rebeca was fine with keeping Cooper another two nights, which was really great, considering it was a last minute decision. She made me really comfortable when we had a meet and greet. She was good with not invading Cooper's space, as I warned her that he can become aggressive with strangers. He sniffed her and explored her house. She let him come to her and assured me that she has had dogs in the past that were like that and she and her family use different strategies with different dogs to make them comfortable. She seemed very friendly, experienced, and relaxed around dogs. I met her daughter and her husband as well, and they both played with Cooper while I talked with them (he likes to chase a laser light.) During our trip, Cooper clearly had a great time with Rebeca and her family. I received photos of him every day, and there were several that showed him snuggling with members of her family, and sitting or lying with other dogs that were being boarded at the same time. Rebeca took really good care of him and assured me during my trip that he was settling in great. She said that she and her family adored him and would take him any time we need anything in the future. We will definitely have Rebeca watch him again when we travel! I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants their dog to be well taken care of!

Gienna was an AMAZING dog sitter for my pug Stanley. She was friendly, professional, communicative, and honest. I booked Gienna relatively close to a 2 week vacation where I was going out of state for my honeymoon, and she was awesome. I work remote so my dog is always with me and has a fair bit of separation anxiety. From the second Stanley met G at a meet-and-greet appointment we set up, I could tell he would have fun at her home. Gienna sent me pictures every day, documenting what they were doing that day, and how Stan was holding up. Honestly, I don’t think he wanted to come home when I went to pick him up! Her home is neat and tidy, and her completely fenced in yard was a huge bonus! Stanley had the time of his life, which allowed me to feel relaxed while on vacation, knowing my furry-child was in good hands. Gienna has definitely become my go-to.

Very impressed and grateful to Lori and Billy. They looked after our 1 year old goldendoodle for 3 weeks. Very responsive, photos every day and our doggie was clearly having as good a time (if not better) than us on our vacation!!! We will definitely be going back to them as needed.

Sonny had an exceptional week with Mike and his wife. He had a large, fenced yard to run and play. He had windows to look out and keep an eye on the neighborhood, and he could sleep where he wanted. I know he had fun as he slept on the car ride home and went back to the couch when we got home. Very nice couple. Sonny would agree if he could!

Nala stayed for nearly 2 weeks and was well taken care of. We received lots of updates and it's clear that Natasha really cares for the happiness and well-being of the pets she takes care of. Will use again!

5 star on the whole experience! I could not have done it better. In fact, when I came to pick Jack up, he was wondering why I was there, he thought he moved in! ;-) Jack's secretly hoping I will take another holiday again soon! He is in love with this family!

Paul and Megan took incredible care of Jojo -- they are attentive to every need and personality quirk and made our pup feel so comfortable and loved while we were gone. We hope to have a chance for Jojo to visit with them again soon!

Kathy is 100% awesome and "dog smart" and clearly dogs like her! She currently owns a very young golden retriever, so I came by, ahead of formally booking her, to make sure my two dogs would get along with hers, and to check out the house and fenced yard suitability -both are humble in size but organized well to accommodate dogs. I was totally reassured that she has the kind of intuitive knowledge of dog personalities and behaviors to deal with my two coming into an unfamiliar situation. She completely put me and my dogs at ease. I knew my two dogs would be 100% in good hands. When I dropped off the dogs for the actual stay, she was very accommodating about where to place the dogs' blankets and even provided a large foam dog bed to place them on. When I returned for the pick up, both dogs seemed totally relaxed. She gets and A+ and 5 gold stars.

Elliot always takes such good care of my pup. At drop off, I can hardly hang onto the leash as my dog takes off to get into the house to see him! He is excellent at communicating, sends photos and updates. He takes him out on waking and swimming adventures which my dog loves!

Jennifer took such great care of dog! I loved getting frequent updates including videos and pictures! We already booked with Jennifer again for our next trip! He was well loved while we were away!

We had a great experience with Monica watching our dog for a week. She sent us daily updates and photos and took excellent care for our dog. We booked with a few days notice and Monica was very accommodating and caring throughout it all. We will definitely book with Monica again and recommend her to others!

Krista is absolutely amazing! We left our dog, Willie, with her for a week and it had been a long time since we last had him boarded. Naturally, we missed him. Krista sent photos every day showing us that Willie was having fun which made our vacation so much better. She was extremely flexible and her home was a perfect place for dogs to have tons of fun. Her dogs, Chewie and Bennie welcomed Willie also. We're so happy that we have a new reliable go-to person in Krista when we go away without Willie.

Zwany took great care of our Kitty. After a huge snowstorm forced an extension of our stay away from home, Zwany graciously agreed to take care of Beansy for an extra week. Communication was excellent and our Kitty is actually very happy and healthy!

We left our girl Lily again with Jennifer and went cross country for more than a week. How wonderful to be so far away and have no worries about our baby. Jenn and her family loved and spoiled her as much if not more than we do. Jenn sent lots of pics and updates for us so we knew Lily was having a great vacation too. Will definitely be bringing Lily back to Jenn in the future!

Yang was very communicative and sent many great pictures of my dog while he was with her! I really appreciated knowing how he was doing and that he was comfortable at her house. I would highly recommend Yang to watch your fur baby!
