Dog Boarding in Essex

Absolutely wonderful care of my dog. He gave me some updates and photos which made me know my dog is being well taken care of. We will be back.

Grizzly had an amazing time with Lori and her family! He was well rested and we had no worries at all on our international trip.... receiving frequent pictures and updates during his stay. Thank you Lori!

I had a family emergency that required me to fly out of state on very short notice so I spent hours calling everyone I could think of that might be able to watch my dog with no luck. I decided to try rover since I was out of other options. I messaged a lot of people Very late at night (a few got back to me). Alyssa got back to me very quickly and was super compassionate about my situation. Clementine is my best friend in the world and here I was agreeing to leave her with a total stranger! Needless to say I was paranoid but I dropped her off with Alyssa and her fiancé Zach the very next morning so I could get on a plane. Alyssa was so friendly and Clementine immediately took to her. Zach carried her crate and her things up to their apartment where I was invited In to see where Clementine would be staying for 4 days. Their apartment was nice and very dog friendly. Over the 4 days Alyssa sent me quite a few pictures of Clementine hanging out on the couch making herself at home and enjoying zach practicing his music. Alyssa replied to all of my texts promptly and even met up with one of my friends to take Clementine for a walk. She was so accommodating and reassuring to my worries. Even checking up on me personally, knowing I was going through a rough time out of state. I’ve never used rover before this but it couldn’t have gone more smoothly! I’m so thankful for the way things turned out and I would happily leave Clementine with Alyssa and Zach again when I’m out of town. They were great people and took such good care of my baby. She was so happy to see me when I picked her up and gave Alyssa a big kiss before leaving. Thank you Alyssa for treating her as your own!

Our Winnie clearly had a great time with Lindsay and Tillie! Thanks so much for taking care of our girl and being so flexible and communicative.

Fae and Joseph were so attentive to our dog during his stay. They kept in close communication with us and provided him with lots of TLC. Highly recommended!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Yenny and her family! We felt completely comfortable leaving Koda with them, and it was clear from the beginning that Yenny genuinely loves and cares for animals. She was incredibly attentive, caring, and responsible, and communication was excellent throughout Koda’s entire stay. She kept us updated and made us feel completely at ease knowing Koda was happy and in great hands. We also loved that her whole family welcomed Koda and treated her like part of the family. We had such a great experience that we’ve already booked Koda to stay with Yenny again next week! That probably says it all. 😊 1000% recommended, we couldn’t be happier and feel very lucky to have found someone we trust so much with Koda! 🐾❤️

My dog, Cooper, was originally booked for an 8 night stay with Rebeca, but because of the impending snowstorm, we had to leave early for our trip and return later. Rebeca was fine with keeping Cooper another two nights, which was really great, considering it was a last minute decision. She made me really comfortable when we had a meet and greet. She was good with not invading Cooper's space, as I warned her that he can become aggressive with strangers. He sniffed her and explored her house. She let him come to her and assured me that she has had dogs in the past that were like that and she and her family use different strategies with different dogs to make them comfortable. She seemed very friendly, experienced, and relaxed around dogs. I met her daughter and her husband as well, and they both played with Cooper while I talked with them (he likes to chase a laser light.) During our trip, Cooper clearly had a great time with Rebeca and her family. I received photos of him every day, and there were several that showed him snuggling with members of her family, and sitting or lying with other dogs that were being boarded at the same time. Rebeca took really good care of him and assured me during my trip that he was settling in great. She said that she and her family adored him and would take him any time we need anything in the future. We will definitely have Rebeca watch him again when we travel! I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants their dog to be well taken care of!

I am incredibly pleased at the care that Natasha and Jonathan gave to my dog, Bailey. I received ongoing pictures of his activities and relaxation and they spent a lot of time loving him. He had regular walks and hung out with other dogs. When I picked him up it seemed liked he didn't want to leave. I would recommend their services to anyone looking and I hope to book them again soon. I highly recommend Jade. She’s a natural, and I look forward to bringing my 2 year-old Doberman Bruno to stay with her again. He happily left with her when we dropped him off, and Jade reliably reported updates that he’d befriended her dog and loved his bath time. Her experience stood out on Rover, and she lived up to the excellent reviews.

My dog Phydeau and Liz have a thing going. He couldn’t wait to get out of the car, leave me and go inside at her place. I would be sort of jealous, but so relieved he’s so happy when we’re away. Liz is top notch!

Julie and her family were so great with my dog. They went above and beyond to make his stay special, and even stocked up on some of his favorite treats! I got photos and updates of both adventures and down time throughout his stay, and when we picked him up he was so calm and happy. We are beyond thrilled with his experience and will definitely be booking with Julie again!

Pluto had a great time at Julia’s place. My husband forgot to take Pluto’s frozen food and Julia was so nice to buy it the next day. She regularly sent pictures and updates. She was very accommodating and let us pick Pluto at a different time slot than agreed when our flight was delayed. Thanks a lot Julia! We will definitely drop Pluto again.

Mike was great with my dog Franklin. They have a lovely fenced yard where he took Franklin to play every day. I will definitely recommend Mike and use him myself in future.

We left our two pups with Faith for Memorial Day weekend. Faith was great with them! She's super responsive, and well organized! We'll definitely be going back in the future!

Stacey and her family were terrific! They spoiled our large Bernrdoodle Murph with love, treats and romps in the backyard. They sent tons of pictures to show us he was happy but most of all they were so accommodating when our trip got canceled due to the airspace being closed in the Caribbean. They could not have been more understanding of our situation and we look forward to booking another stay for Murphy with them sometime soon.

Paul and Megan took incredible care of Jojo -- they are attentive to every need and personality quirk and made our pup feel so comfortable and loved while we were gone. We hope to have a chance for Jojo to visit with them again soon!

She was very good with our doggies. The doggies were happy when we picked them up. We definitely recommend Rita and we hope she’s available again the next time we need a doggie sitter.

Natali was great with hosting my dog. She was very attentive and communicative not only during the stay, but also leading up to it. She was proactive in being attentive to my dogs needs and flexible when working with me. Much appreciation!

Donnie is a great sitter! I was a little nervous at first because it was my first time leaving my Corgi with anyone but right when I met Donnie and had a little chat I knew he was going to take good care of Milo. I will definitely be using Donnie again and I highly recommend him to anyone.
