House Sitting in Leyden

Lori is a fabulous pet and house sitter! She stayed at our house for a week with our dog. She communicated with us, sent pictures, and looked after our dog closely. When we came home our house was as we left it and our dog seemed very happy. We highly recommend her!

Maggie did an excellent job taking care of our home, our chickens, and our dog. Vega our Dane is happy and relaxed! The house is in excellent condition. Maggie went above and beyond with helping with our CSA pickup and with other details around the homestead. It is so wonderful to know everything is in capable and caring hands while we are away.

Kendra did a fabulous job caring for my two labs while I was at my daughter's wedding. Especially appreciated her sending update pictures of how they were doing. When I came home after the wedding I was greeted by stress-free happy dogs.

My husband and I had to travel; my older cat had just been diagnosed with diabetes; and my regular pet/house-sitter was unavailable. So instead of panicking (though I was close), I turned to Rover.com and found wonderful Bree! I wanted someone who was comfortable giving daily insulin injections to a suspicious "patient." Bree not only handled this task expertly, but she also pointed out an irregularity in the insulin dosage ... an error or either my vet's part or my own (probably the latter). It was a great catch! Bree bonded quickly with both kitties (even the highly suspicious one); she sent me regular updates and photos without my asking; and I returned to an immaculate house. I will happily ask Bree to stay here again.

Trista did an amazing job. She stayed at our house with our dog and provided us daily updates with pictures. We really appreciated her work. She walked our dog three times a day.

Simply the best

Julie was such a calm presence for my pups. She took the time to get my nervous boy Bubba to trust her and by the end of her visit he obviously adored her. He was very spoiled and I am OK with that! Nala wanted to make sure Julie returned; as I found a stolen sock hidden away in her bed! Nala doesn't steal clothes unless she is very comfortable with someone. Julie even took the extra time to care for my little hedgehog, for which I'm very thankful as it was one less thing to worry about while I was away. I almost can't wait to go on a trip again, just so the pups can visit with Julie soon.

Brandy was great and I would absolutely book her for dog sitting again. She is very communicative and prompt. She got along well with my dog and he was normal, happy, & not stressed when I returned, even though this was a totally new experience for him. She send me lots of pictures and updates which was so appreciated! And my home was clean and tidy when I returned. Thank you, Brandy!

Kelly and Nabil are amazing. My dog is a rescue and had been through a lot so he isn’t always easy! Duke was a perfect gentleman for them. That says so very much for them as dog sitters. Not only was duke very well taken care of my house was immaculate! This was the first vacation I have ever taken and not worried about my dog or home! If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with both your home and your fur baby Tessa is the person to book!!!! She took wonderful care of our dog and our home while we were away. From the moment we met her, we knew our dog was in great hands. She was attentive, loving, dependable, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. The biggest sign of how amazing she is? Our dog absolutely adored her and was genuinely sad to see her leave! That says more than anything we could write. It’s not easy finding someone you trust to care for the things that matter most, but Tessa exceeded every expectation. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and trustworthy dog sitter and house sitter. She treated our dog like family, and we came home to a happy pup and a well-cared-for home. We will definitely be asking Tessa to stay with our dog again!

Haley was so calm and patient with my 4 yr old rescue lab, Annie, who has special needs - mostly anxiety - which is aided by oral meds. She addressed Annie’s high energy level with long walks and lots of tennis ball playtime. Responsible, flexible and communication was provided with texts and photos throughout her stay. I came home to a relaxed and happy pup! You can tell she has been around animals, especially dogs, her whole life. I would highly recommend Haley to anyone needing help - I already have.
