Dog Boarding in Merrimac

Could not be happier with the service Mike and Linda provided for our anxious doodle. From the booking process, the trial run and the stay itself (including regular updates) Mike was professional, caring and put my mind at ease throughout. I fully recommend Mike without hesitation and will be back!

Donna is the greatest! She is so reliable, kind, and trustworthy. We have used her twice now and have had great experiences everytime. She sends you photos, promptly responds when you ask for updates and is very patient with the dogs. Would absolutely recommend her.

Christina provides a very safe, spacious fenced yard for the dogs to play in. Our 10 month old mini doodle appeared to have a great time. Her location right off the highway is VERY convenient. We plan to use her services again anytime we travel north to Maine. Most importantly, she genuinely loves and cares for all dogs.

Another great stay for our pup with Lindsay and her family. Honestly, we were a little worried our dog would be bummed out when we came to pick him up. It's like dog camp. Linday's dog Tilly is as welcoming a host as Lindsay.

My dog, Cooper, was originally booked for an 8 night stay with Rebeca, but because of the impending snowstorm, we had to leave early for our trip and return later. Rebeca was fine with keeping Cooper another two nights, which was really great, considering it was a last minute decision. She made me really comfortable when we had a meet and greet. She was good with not invading Cooper's space, as I warned her that he can become aggressive with strangers. He sniffed her and explored her house. She let him come to her and assured me that she has had dogs in the past that were like that and she and her family use different strategies with different dogs to make them comfortable. She seemed very friendly, experienced, and relaxed around dogs. I met her daughter and her husband as well, and they both played with Cooper while I talked with them (he likes to chase a laser light.) During our trip, Cooper clearly had a great time with Rebeca and her family. I received photos of him every day, and there were several that showed him snuggling with members of her family, and sitting or lying with other dogs that were being boarded at the same time. Rebeca took really good care of him and assured me during my trip that he was settling in great. She said that she and her family adored him and would take him any time we need anything in the future. We will definitely have Rebeca watch him again when we travel! I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants their dog to be well taken care of!

I have never left my pups with anyone outside of family but my pups immediately fell in love with Bob as if they have know him their whole lives! I felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. I loved the picture updates and letting me know of any adventures they took. I will absolutely rebook with Bob again if ever in need of a sitter. They are the best around.

We went on vacation and left our puppy Eggo for the first time. John and Donna made sure Eggo was well taken care and immediately put our minds at ease. They were very friendly and approachable, they treated Eggo like he was their own baby! They also made sure to keep us updated everyday with a phone call/text messages and photos. Faith took amazing care of Jellybean. We were not able to have someone stay in our home this past trip due to construction, so I was nervous about boarding her. All went very well, and Jellybean looked happy and healthy when we picked her up. Thanks so much!

Donnie was wonderful with our Jax! This was our first time boarding our 5 yo Australian shepherd and let’s say we were pretty anxious about who/how he would be cared for. But Donnie put our minds at ease and Jax had a grand time! Would recommend anyone to put their trust in Donnie.

Julie and her family were so great with my dog. They went above and beyond to make his stay special, and even stocked up on some of his favorite treats! I got photos and updates of both adventures and down time throughout his stay, and when we picked him up he was so calm and happy. We are beyond thrilled with his experience and will definitely be booking with Julie again!

Julia was amazing with my Coco! Coco is a senior dog with anxieties, and Julia was such a warm and welcoming environment. She is very patient and caring, and I highly recommend her!

My dog just returned from his second stay with Denise and I would not have been happier with the care she provided. The setup in her home was perfect for my small dog, and is is apparent he feels very comfortable there. She was easy to book with and flexible when my travel plans unexpectedly changed. Karen was great with our Shea! She took her time introducing Shea to her dogs and they all got along beautifully! Karen sent pictures and videos every day and it was obvious that Shea was having fun and Karen was taking good care of her!! Shea came home and slept all afternoon!! She was a very content puppy! Rose is a real professional. My two dogs took to her immediately. She stayed in constant contact with my wife and me with photos and videos. She also asked questions about some of the dogs' indiosyncracies which was really helpful for her perpetual care. Highly recommend Rose.

I can't recommend Ari enough! She boarded my two dogs, Louie and Lestat, for five days and went above and beyond to make them feel safe, happy, and part of her family. From the moment I dropped them off, I could tell they were in great hands. She kept me updated throughout their stay with regular texts and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I took care of personal business and errands. Both of my dogs came home happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. It’s so comforting to know that they were loved and treated like family. Emily is super reliable and trustworthy! Sends pics/updates during the day! I always feel comfortable leaving my dog with her for short or extended periods of time!

Kristen, Bobby, and Archie were absolutely wonderful and so accommodating for a last-minute overnight stay. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. It gave me complete peace of mind knowing my dog was not just cared for, but truly loved while in their home. Daisy took great care of my dog Bentley while I was away for a short trip! She sent me updates throughout the day and even gave us some treats to take home! Bentley was comfortable with her. Highly recommend and will definitely book with her again!!

Mercis far exceeded my expectations. It is natural to be nervous with a first-time sitter, but my usually anxious little guy quickly relaxed in Mercis' home. She sent many pictures and videos to further assure me all was well. I am happy to have found her!
