Dog Boarding in Merrimac

Mike took excellent care of our high maintenance little girl. Photos showed how secure and happy she felt. Mike's house is super clean and pet safe. Highly recommend and will be using Mike's services again.

Donna and Roland have been fantastic with our dog, this was his first time boarding. They have taken an exceptionally great care of him. Great communication and has gone above and beyond making sure he was eating. I could not recommend them enough as dog-sitters and we’ll be sure to use them again in the future! Felicia was awesome with Oliver! She watched him for a week at her place and took such good care of him. She kept me updated, was super easy to talk to, and really went out of her way to be accommodating. I could tell he was happy and comfortable with her the whole time. Definitely would have her watch him again!

My little Lucy is a bit of a high maintenance pooch -- needing medication, special handling, etc. Bob and Kathi always welcome her with open arms and Lucy can't wait to get in their house! Although she happily greeted me when I went to pick her up, she turned right back to Bob and Kathi, ready to resume her fun times. It makes my vacation soooo much more fun to know she's having a fun vacation too! I can't recommend these folks highly enough!

We were extremely fortunate to have Felicia look after our dog Jaybird. We needed someone last minute and Felicia was flexible and accommodating. We hope to use her again soon!

Murphy, our 8 month old french bulldog puppy, has the absolute best time with Julie and family! He never wants to leave. While this hurts our feelings, we are very happy to know that he loves the time he spends "on vacation". We are so excited to have found this great family to help us when we have to be away from our boy.

Charlie had another awesome stay with Mercis. This was his first time staying in the city! Mercis was great providing regular updates with loads of pictures about his activities throughout the day. We look forward to boarding Charlie with Mercis again for our boarding needs

Denise and Luca (her small dog) were great with our small dog Senshi. We felt he was comfortable with her and it was nice that she only takes small dogs. He had lovely walks to the beach and a farm. She let him sit by her in the evenings and on the bed at night. She has cameras around her home so if she has to go out she can check on him which we appreciate. She always responded to any inquiries we had in a timely manner and she provided pics and updates regularly. We will definitely use her again.

I left my pup with John and Donna while on vacation. This was the first time with them and my pup gets a little anxious when I leave as she was a rescue. I received messages to let me know how she was doing and she was so relaxed and content when she came home that it was like I hadn't left her for a week. I felt that they really cared for her and would definitely try to leave her with them again when I need doggy care. Thank you for putting my mind at ease!

Another great stay for our pup with Lindsay and her family. Honestly, we were a little worried our dog would be bummed out when we came to pick him up. It's like dog camp. Linday's dog Tilly is as welcoming a host as Lindsay.

We left our 3yr old Lab with Kristen for our trip to Denver. Their dog Archie and Brewster were fast friends and enjoyed many hikes and park outings together while we were away. If you have a Lab you know they are very energetic and need activity, Kristen was up to the challenge. We got many pictures of Brewster being loved and Kristen was extremely flexible and accommodating with our trip changes. Kristen and Bobby are wonderful caring sitters that we would not hesitate to use again and again.

Caty was an amazing caretaker for my two chihuahuas. Couldn’t be happier with her boarding services and what an amazing family she has! Would definitely leave my doggy girls in her care again.

This was our second visit with Stacey, and our dog Bruce was sooo happy to see her. I am so thankful to have found someone that we are comfortable leaving our dog with. Thank you, Stacey and Family for your enthusiasm and care of Bruce!

Absolutely wonderful care of my dog. He gave me some updates and photos which made me know my dog is being well taken care of. We will be back.

Leyani is amazing! Our pup was genuinely sad to leave—she would’ve happily stayed with Leyani and her family forever. Leyani is responsive, punctual, and flexible, and we’d love to have Maizie stay with her again in the future.

Karen was great with our Shea! She took her time introducing Shea to her dogs and they all got along beautifully! Karen sent pictures and videos every day and it was obvious that Shea was having fun and Karen was taking good care of her!! Shea came home and slept all afternoon!! She was a very content puppy! Thank you, Karen!

Jessica was amazing!! Oscar was right at home and she and her husband treated him as if he was their dog. Jessica sent me lots of pictures and gave updates and it was nice to feel connected. She was helpful, responsive, and so generous. I had to change my start-date last minute because I confused my flight departure time and she was so generous to accept Oscar that night instead of the next morning. I will definitely rebook with her. I knew Oscar was happy and safe, and he will enjoy getting all the walks and cuddles again!

We only trust Faith when booking overnights for our dog. We are comforted by the fact that she has glowing reviews and a warm presence about her. Our dog always comes home happy and, for us, that is the most important part. Most recently she was able to accommodate a last minute overnight and we are grateful for that. Faith is great and we will continue to book with her.

Salish and her family were great with my doggo. Sent plenty of updates and you could tell how sweet she was. My doggo didn't want to leave! I highly recommend Salish to watch your pupper

I cannot recommend Joshua enough! I am always a bit nervous leaving my dog with someone new because he can be quite a handfuL, He has a tendency to be difficult and is a notorious flight risk. Joshua handled him with incredible patience and skill. I use a GPS and step tracking collar, so I was able to see firsthand that he was being taken on extensive outdoor walks throughout the day. It was such a relief to see him getting so much exercise and mental stimulation. By the time I picked him up, he was "exhausted" in the absolute best way possible; just happy, calm, and tuckered out. If you are looking for a sitter who is responsible, active, and capable of handling dogs with challenging behaviors, Joshua is the one! I will definitely be booking again.
