Cat Sitting in New Salem

Kiersten did such a wonderful job of caring for our four cats while we were away! She arrived on time, well prepared for her stay at our home. I was immediately at ease with her, and could see that our cats were too. She sent photo updates each day, which was a comfort to us as we traveled, and the cats looked great and very relaxed with her. Most surprising for us was that our very energetic and sometimes anxious newest cat, who arrived just a few months ago, really loved being with Kiersten, and he very soon got cozy with her! He was just beginning to relax with us but hadn't yet even begun to sit on my lap when I left. Our eldest cat also clearly loved being with her! He's very unique and emotionally complex, and doesn't always relate so easily with people. We are very grateful for her attentive care to our precious cats, and highly recommend her services. We would be happy to work with her again!

I am so grateful that Aurore checked in on my two cats while I was away! The photos and knowing they were safe and cared for were such a relief and I will absolutely reach out to Aurore again!

Natalie was great! Communicated with us throughout, sent lots of pictures, and wrote thoughtful, entertaining updates for each visit. We hope Natalie will be available next time our cats need a sitter!

Natalya was great, very communicative and was prompt. She was flexible around the holidays and always played with our cat when she was there. I would recommend her for cats, and we'll be reaching out in the future!

Vikki immediately bonded with my older cat. I could see my cat rubbing up against her and enjoying her treats. She provided loving companionship for a week while I was on vacation. I am truly thankful for the care she provided my cat. 5 stars out of 5!!

Emily did a wonderful job with our special needs cat, Dakota. Dakota is paralyzed in the back after having been hit by a car years ago. He gets around ok dragging his back legs but he has to have his bladder expressed three times a day. Emily had experience doing this in the past (I think in some kind of vet assistant capacity or something like that) and successfully managed Dakota when we went out of town for a few days. Dakota stayed at Emily's house with her cats and it all worked out fine. Emily's house is so cat friendly with cat climbing things all around and Emily even mentioned that down the road she might have cat grass (that our cat loves to eat) since she grows it herself. We were also happy that Emily was fine with us leaving all Dakota's regular collection of favorite things: his little cat house, cat bed, and even the ramp we made for him to climb up on couches. It was so nice for us to think of Dakota in a friendly home rather than in a cage at the vet. We loved how Emily was great about communicating both in terms of photos showing Dakota was doing well and also asking intelligent questions to make sure the expressing of the bladder was going well. When we picked Dakota up, he was in fine shape and clearly had been well-taken-care of. We'll definitely use Emily again!

Lori was great with our boys and communicated with us the entire time, sending us pictures that made us very comfortable. I would highly recommend Lori.

Grace was lovely to work with and she provided excellent care for our two cats! Regular communication and great pictures of our kitties each day. Would be happy to have her pet sit for us again.

Carol was a great communicator who made us feel confident our cat was in good hands while we were away. She shared daily updates and photos that showed our moody cat warming up to her a bit more during each visit.
