House Sitting in Newbury Old Town

Lauren did a fabulous job taking care of our 9 year old Great Pyrenees and our garden and house while we were on a 9-day trip. Lauren sent us lots of pictures of our happy dog (who LOVED Lauren) and was perfectly clean and respectful of our home. Our garden was in better shape than before we left when we returned! Wr recommend Lauren highly and will about be reaching out to her again!

Janine was absolutely wonderful! She sent photos and videos throughout the weekend and truly seemed to love our Ziggy as if she was her own. We could tell from every photo that Ziggy was happy & comfortable & getting lots of love, playtime & walks! We were able to fully enjoy our vacation because our girl was in such great hands! Janine was so kind - she even brought in our trash cans for us & our house was immaculate when we got home. I wish we could leave 100 stars for this review! We will absolutely book with Janine again.

Our cat Lily loved Corinne and so did we! She has the sensitivity needed to work with animals. She was very responsible, communicative, and I swear that our place was cleaner than we left it! She has earned our trust and will always be our first choice for cat sitter in Rochester.

Superb sitter. Relaxed and connects well with Sweetie. Took her on long walks. We returned later by >20 minutes than expected, but Laura accepted this in stride. "No problem!" Brilliant!

We had a wonderful experience with Carina as our dog sitter! This was the first time in years we were using a sitter instead of family, so we were a bit nervous about leaving our pups, but Carina took great care of our two goldendoodles at our house. She was a natural with our pups, and when we returned home, they were calm, relaxed, and clearly well-exercised. She made the entire experience seamless and easy. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to her again in the future! :)

Peach was a wonderful pet sitter for my cat. She responds promptly, is attentive to his needs, and best of all plays with him. I can highly recommend Peach-i was able to take a few days away and know he was so well cared for.

Wiktoria and her husband stayed in our home with our dog, Millie, for seven nights. Overall, Millie was well cared for and happy. They were also very flexible in extending their stay when our travel was disrupted, which we truly appreciated. We did have a few areas that didn’t fully meet our expectations. Millie was only taken on two walks during their stay, despite our request for daily walks or outings (even short car rides). We understand February weather in Massachusetts can be challenging, especially with a snowstorm during their visit, but we were hoping for a bit more activity. On the first day, Millie was left alone for over nine hours without prior discussion. While she can handle being alone for up to eight hours, we had emphasized that she typically spends very little time alone, and we had chosen Wiktoria based on her open availability. Thankfully, once we raised this concern, it didn’t happen again. Communication was limited — we received only a few pictures and updates, usually after we reached out first. As new users of in-home dog sitting, we realize we might have needed to be clearer about wanting daily check-ins, but it was something we expected based on other reviews. During their stay, Wiktoria let us know about ants appearing in the guest room — unusual for our home and especially for February. We offered our usual treatment suggestions, and although we found a few crumbs on the rug upon returning home, the issue now seems resolved. Overall, while Millie was safe and content, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations given Wiktoria’s strong reviews. It was a helpful learning experience for us as first-time Rover users, and we appreciate the care she provided.

Keirsten was fantastic! She made us feel very comfortable that Nova was well cared for. She sent along plenty of pictures and updates. We came back to the house just as we left it and she even did laundry! Thank you so much Keirsten. Look forward to having you back soon!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Ann Marie was awesome. She obviously loves and understands dog behavior. She approached Howie ( my anxious big puppers) very gently and was able to gain his trust more quickly than other people he sees regularly. I felt completely comfortable leaving Howie with her; knowing that he would be well cared for. As an added bonus, we returned to a very clean home. I would never hesitate to have her stay with Howie again!

Matt is so great. My dog, Gracie loved him so much. Definitely will have him watch her again.

So glad that we found Henry! He was wonderfully communicative and took the best care of our dog. Additionally was respectful of our space while he stayed in our home. Thank you Henry!

Amy was the absolute best!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things. I was gone for over 2 weeks and she stayed in my house with my 1 Golden Retriever and 2 cats. They were all super happy! Awesome things that happened 1. Dog had several walks a day and made new friends 2. Cat had to go to vet unexpectedly and Amy took her 3. Meds and cleaning of wound had to be managed 4. Plants stayed alive 5. House was clean 6. Sheets on bed she used were washed 7. Trash was out - she even cleaned out the fridge. 8. Super communicative 9. Sent fun pictures and updates 10. Loved on the animals so much!! 😍

Asia was an incredible caretaker of our pup while we were away! She was very communicative and sent a ton of photos 💕

Natalie was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She took excellent care of our dog and cat over the holidays and treated our home with incredible care and attention. Communication was great, and it was such a relief knowing everything — pets and house — were in such capable hands. We came home to happy pets and a spotless house. I would 100% book Natalie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a truly exceptional sitter.

TJ was phenomenal! He sent us updates the entire weekend so we never wondered what was happening! He took both of our dogs on multiple walks per day and even helped water the Christmas tree! 100% recommending him and will definitely rebook future sittings with him!

Andrew was amazing with our pets. Our reactive dog and two cats loved him. The regular updates with pictures were nice and everyone seemed to be getting all the love and attention they needed. We will definitely be going with him again.
