House Sitting in Orange

Kiersten did such a wonderful job of caring for our four cats while we were away! She arrived on time, well prepared for her stay at our home. I was immediately at ease with her, and could see that our cats were too. She sent photo updates each day, which was a comfort to us as we traveled, and the cats looked great and very relaxed with her. Most surprising for us was that our very energetic and sometimes anxious newest cat, who arrived just a few months ago, really loved being with Kiersten, and he very soon got cozy with her! He was just beginning to relax with us but hadn't yet even begun to sit on my lap when I left. Our eldest cat also clearly loved being with her! He's very unique and emotionally complex, and doesn't always relate so easily with people. We are very grateful for her attentive care to our precious cats, and highly recommend her services. We would be happy to work with her again!

Kendra always takes wonderful care of Cinder and this time we added kitten Nars to the mix. It was so helpful to hear Kendra's thoughts on how the two were getting along. Kendra knows animals so well!

Amie was wonderful. Teddy seemed to be very comfortable with her. She sent us adorable pictures and updated us throughout the day. Very good first visit. Thank you!

Jorden did a great job with our 2 dogs and 2 cats. We were able to go on vacation with peace of mind that our pets were well taken care of. Jorden arranged for a visit to meet our pets to see if it would be a good fit. We really appreciated that extra step as it also assured us that everything would be fine. We received regular updates via texts as well as pictures. We highly recommend Jorden and will 100% use them in the future.

We love Lori! Lori had her hands full and still went above and beyond (including but not limited to saving a mouse from my murderous cat). She kept great contact and everything was as we left it. It was our first time booking with her and definitely will again if she’ll have us!

Amanda did a great job watching and staying with our dog and two cats while we were gone for the weekend. She sent updates during the weekend. I would use her services again!

Amanda did a phenomenal job taking care of our two dogs for a long weekend - we strongly recommend her! She sent regular updates with photos which clearly showed how much our dogs were smitten by her and how much fun they were having - including our young dog who can take a while to warm up to people! Amanda was highly communicative about her schedule. She let us know immediately when she had a family emergency on the last day that would impact how many hours during the day she’d be available to hang out at home with our dogs. We offered to try to find someone else to pop in, but she coordinated everything so that she could be back to spend time taking care of them every couple of hours (well within the limit of how long they can hold it). We were so impressed by her thoughtfulness, professionalism, and care for our pups even when she had something else going on! We would book Amanda again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her for in-home pet care.

We are very lucky to have found Jenna on Rover to take care of our dog while we were away on vacation. She followed all of our instructions and our dog, Toby, was well taken care of everyday. He was very happy when we came home and there were no issues to report. She updated us everyday with a short report and photos and even some videos! I highly recommend Jenna and I would not hesitate to use her again in the future.

Dan was very easy to work with. We were trying work out the best time weatherwise for a two day hike to one of the AMC Huts in the White Mountains. He was pretty flexible. He seem comfortable with our two huskies. They can be a bit difficult in our woods. Just prior to Dan stay, the dogs tangled with a Porcupine (getting a few quills in their muzzles) and antagonizing a garter snake. Then after we came back, they made a very large commotion, chasing a large black bear off our property. Dan worked well with the huskies. Thank you, Dad!

Brandy was great and I would absolutely book her for dog sitting again. She is very communicative and prompt. She got along well with my dog and he was normal, happy, & not stressed when I returned, even though this was a totally new experience for him. She send me lots of pictures and updates which was so appreciated! And my home was clean and tidy when I returned. Thank you, Brandy!

Julie was such a calm presence for my pups. She took the time to get my nervous boy Bubba to trust her and by the end of her visit he obviously adored her. He was very spoiled and I am OK with that! Nala wanted to make sure Julie returned; as I found a stolen sock hidden away in her bed! Nala doesn't steal clothes unless she is very comfortable with someone. Julie even took the extra time to care for my little hedgehog, for which I'm very thankful as it was one less thing to worry about while I was away. I almost can't wait to go on a trip again, just so the pups can visit with Julie soon.

Thank you so much Laura for being our "GO TO" for Julian! Knowing he's so well taken care of in our absence is such a blessing! Also, the house is always immaculate!! You are the best! xoxo

Julisa was great. Since we couldn’t meet in-person before her first visit, she set up a video call so she could virtually meet me, the dogs and I could walk her through the house and the dogs’ routines. She was on time, stayed in communication with me and sent pictures of the dogs, which I loved. I’ve already booked her again for an extended stay!

Lily was great with all 4 of our dogs for a 2 night stay. Communication was perfect and quick! Will absolutely book with her again.
