Cat Sitting in Paxton

Ann did a great job caring for our 2 cats. She kept us updated with great detail. She took lots of pictures. She was very thorough. I would definitely use her again.

We have an eldery cat that needs a lot of tlc and maintenance. Tina did an excellent job of taking care of him and a few small aquarium pets for a week while we were away she sent us daily updates and went above and beyond for him. It was a great stress relief knowing he was being well taken care of. We are very appreciative of her and would highly recommend her to anyone needing her services and we will most certainly hire her again when the need arises.

Pat has been incredibly flexible, nice and patient!! My cat absolutely loved her stay and the love she got from Pat! I was so worried at first about her adjusting to a new place but she ended up loving being with Pat so much that when i picked her up she was treating her house as it if it was her own😂 She also became super comfortable around Pat in an incredibly fast period, which tells me she really trusted her!!

Kayla took great care of our cats while we were away and was able to accommodate a last minute extra visit. She was easy to communicate with and sent photos/updates. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

Erica was so helpful watching our chickens and cat sawyer! I loved all the photos and updates. She was always very prompt to respond as well.

Rebecka was AMAZING! She was so thoughtful and attentive to my cat while we were out of town - she gave her so much love and playtime, gave really awesome update notes, and checked in about her bathroom habits when some anxiety kept her from using her litter box the first day (just a show of how considerate and thorough she is). She also vacuumed when my cat made a mess in the litter box- so not necessary, but really sweet! I would absolutely recommend Rebecka to anyone looking for a Rover sitter and will definitely be contacting her again for future cat sitting. Thank you!!

Damien & Shea provided excellent care of our cat king. They clearly gave alot of love and attention to him.

John did a great job house sitting and caring for our two cats, Cleo and Pico. He kept us updated with messages and photos, and we came home to happy cats and a spotless house. It gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Thanks John!

Gabriela was fantastic at cat sitting! She was very invested in learning about Rhea and her personality. Gabriela did a great job completing the tasks we’d left for her and she sent detailed summaries every visit. Gabriela even was able to engage Rhea into playing more than usual by crafting a toy. Would highly recommend Gabriela for any sort of pet sitting :)

Alison was wonderful to work with. She was friendly and kind. She sent lots of pictures of our pets. We felt relieved knowing our pets were in such capable hands. Would definitely book with her again in the future!

TLDR: highly recommend! Contracting Jen to check in on our cats allowed them to remain in their comfy, familiar home, with a steady routine. As a result, they didn’t spend two weeks hiding under a bed, barely eating or drinking (as has happened when our older cat has stayed with and been looked after by family.) On the contrary, after being separated from us for two weeks, both cats came out to greet us immediately. We were worried about our little one, as she’s pretty attached and had never been separated from us before, but she was great! And our old man was less resentful and angry with us-barely any yelling at us this time! They even seem to have become closer to each other, which was an unexpected bonus and relief. Not only did Jen provide our kitties with the consistency they needed while we were away, but she managed us well too. In preparation for us leaving, she came over to meet everyone, saw the spaces and routines, and listened to our sometimes-rambling concerns and emotions with patience. She sent comprehensive notes and pictures (when able to catch the little one on camera- so fast!), and each day assured us the cats and HOME were safe. She always made note that she’d locked up, shut off lights, and set the alarm. She even offered to water the plants. Jen gave us peace of mind while we were away from our home and beloved kitties, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Jacquie and her husband took such good care of Echo. From the pictures she sent one would think he was away at camp. Walking, hiking and playing every day. Highly recommended!
