Dog Boarding in Rockport

Kathy was willing to take our 6 month old puppy and 3 1/2 year old golden doodle for 3 nights last minute after a last minute family emergency. She gave them plenty of outdoor play time and was very responsive to our questions on how they were doing. Dogs were happy and non-stressed when we picked them up. We recommend and would use Kathy again.

Kathleen was AMAZING! We had never left our Bruschi with anyone besides immediate family, so we were unsure of how he would behave. Right away Bruschi was comfortable with Kathleen and gave her lots of snuggles during his stay. When we went to pick him up, he was napping on the couch as if that was his new home. It was wonderful knowing that Bruschi was enjoying his own vacation, and was in such great hands and getting so much one-on-one love and attention. We will have to book Bruschi another stay with Kathleen as I do think he misses her :) Kathleen was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for someone better to watch our little Bruschi. It was so nice knowing he was in safe hands and therefore i could enjoy my vacation and not have to worry about him.

Myleigh was so great with Cooper! Cooper is a 13-year old black lab mix who can get anxious sometimes. When I brought him to her, he barely even noticed me, totally engaged in greeting her and went along so willingly into her house, never even glancing back at me :-) She has that kind of energy. She sent me pictures, one of him curled up with her cat and he looked so happy just hanging out with the cat! I was surprised because he's never been around cats but he loves attention and cuddling (it even made me think about getting a cat lol!) Seeing that pic melted my heart and I wasn't nervous about him at all after that, which made the overnight so much better. I highly recommend Myleigh to watch your furbabies and will definitely reach out to Myleigh in the future!

Lindsay was very communicative and gave us plenty of updates during our dog’s stay with her. He seemed to get plenty of exercise, and we would definitely book Lindsay again in the future!

The home visit with Donna was very helpful. Gus was a little bit nervous but we could tell this would be a wonderful "vacation spot" for him. Gus confirmed this for us when we dropped him off - he was very excited to see Donna! We loved the video and photos Donna sent us while we were away. We would not hesitate to recommend Donna. Gus is looking forward to his next visit. The value of peace of mind - priceless!

Alex is a 28 - 30 lb 2 1/2 year old Australian Cobberdog (sort of a pure bred doodle). This was Alex's first stay with a stranger, so we were a little nervous how he would react. We did a pre greet with Lori ( which is a must to do). She was extremely friendly and helpful' Alex took to her at once. Lori had 2 dogs of her own, and she had 1-3 smaller dogs come for the day... Alex did not eat any of these other dogs I am happy to say ( although I think he did chew one of Lori's socks...) Alex got along fine with all -- Lori kept us informed almost daily and sent regular pictures of Alex with his new friends. We are very thankful for Lori's obvious caring for Alex. I would highly recommend her.

Ariane was fantastic and our two Portuguese Water Dogs had the best time. We’d never left them with anyone prior to this and were pretty nervous but Ari went pictures and communicated with us the entire time. I’m so glad we found we found someone we can trust, we visited a few other dog sitters but Ari’s home and care method were far superior to the rest.

Wendell had a great stay with Nikki! I got lots of picture updates and felt completely at ease knowing he was in great hands. She kept me in the loop the whole time, and it was clear Wendell was happy and well cared for. I’d absolutely book with her again!

Alyssa was so kind and flexible when our flight was cancelled and delayed. I also received photos so I knew Dez was well cared for and having fun. I definitely recommend Alyssa and will certainly use her again.

What a great experience with Liza! I’m always nervous to leave my dog with a new sitter but Liza made him and me so comfortable. She was so pleasant to communicate with and sent me adorable photos during his stay. I highly recommend Liza for your pet and I look forward to to our next visit with her.

Krista was so wonderful with our two babies. She was very communicative and went above and beyond for us. This is our second time using her and will again when in the area!!

Sonny had an exceptional week with Mike and his wife. He had a large, fenced yard to run and play. He had windows to look out and keep an eye on the neighborhood, and he could sleep where he wanted. I know he had fun as he slept on the car ride home and went back to the couch when we got home. Very nice couple. Sonny would agree if he could!

I chose Christian to dog sit for my >14 year old dog while on vacation because of his experience with older dogs, and to give my dog an opportunity for a more personalized boarding experience than at a boarding place. He was communicative from the start and continued to be. We even had a quick meet and greet with him and my dog before the boarding dates which was an added plus. When the boarding time came, Christian took good care of her feeding, medications and walks as I had described. Unfortunately I had to cut the boarding time short because my dog was peeing in his home even after many walks, and barking in the early hours of the morning. This behavior was unusual for my dog but I think it was due to her nerves despite Christian’s best efforts to make her feel at home. Figuring out what is happening to your dog while you are abroad is not easy but i appreciated Christian’s honesty and patience through it all. I also appreciated his kindness to Sachi despite the cleanups and early morning walks. Though this boarding experience was cut short, it demonstrated Christian’s caring and patient character for my dog and for any dog he cares for

Willow enjoyed an adventure filled weekend with lots of walks and swimming while we were away! Lisa-Marie is an experienced dog owner and provided excellent care for our pup. We felt comfortable and confident leaving her with Lisa-Marie. Willow looks forward to her next stay!
