Dog Boarding in Rockport

I had a family emergency that required me to fly out of state on very short notice so I spent hours calling everyone I could think of that might be able to watch my dog with no luck. I decided to try rover since I was out of other options. I messaged a lot of people Very late at night (a few got back to me). Alyssa got back to me very quickly and was super compassionate about my situation. Clementine is my best friend in the world and here I was agreeing to leave her with a total stranger! Needless to say I was paranoid but I dropped her off with Alyssa and her fiancé Zach the very next morning so I could get on a plane. Alyssa was so friendly and Clementine immediately took to her. Zach carried her crate and her things up to their apartment where I was invited In to see where Clementine would be staying for 4 days. Their apartment was nice and very dog friendly. Over the 4 days Alyssa sent me quite a few pictures of Clementine hanging out on the couch making herself at home and enjoying zach practicing his music. Alyssa replied to all of my texts promptly and even met up with one of my friends to take Clementine for a walk. She was so accommodating and reassuring to my worries. Even checking up on me personally, knowing I was going through a rough time out of state. I’ve never used rover before this but it couldn’t have gone more smoothly! I’m so thankful for the way things turned out and I would happily leave Clementine with Alyssa and Zach again when I’m out of town. They were great people and took such good care of my baby. She was so happy to see me when I picked her up and gave Alyssa a big kiss before leaving. Thank you Alyssa for treating her as your own!

Kathy is a wonderful dog sitter! She took such good care of my pup. She was also incredibly kind and accommodating when my plans changed. I felt so comfortable leaving my pup with her. Highly recommend!

Very impressed and grateful to Lori and Billy. They looked after our 1 year old goldendoodle for 3 weeks. Very responsive, photos every day and our doggie was clearly having as good a time (if not better) than us on our vacation!!! We will definitely be going back to them as needed.

I highly recommend Jade. She’s a natural, and I look forward to bringing my 2 year-old Doberman Bruno to stay with her again. He happily left with her when we dropped him off, and Jade reliably reported updates that he’d befriended her dog and loved his bath time. Her experience stood out on Rover, and she lived up to the excellent reviews.

My dog, Cooper, was originally booked for an 8 night stay with Rebeca, but because of the impending snowstorm, we had to leave early for our trip and return later. Rebeca was fine with keeping Cooper another two nights, which was really great, considering it was a last minute decision. She made me really comfortable when we had a meet and greet. She was good with not invading Cooper's space, as I warned her that he can become aggressive with strangers. He sniffed her and explored her house. She let him come to her and assured me that she has had dogs in the past that were like that and she and her family use different strategies with different dogs to make them comfortable. She seemed very friendly, experienced, and relaxed around dogs. I met her daughter and her husband as well, and they both played with Cooper while I talked with them (he likes to chase a laser light.) During our trip, Cooper clearly had a great time with Rebeca and her family. I received photos of him every day, and there were several that showed him snuggling with members of her family, and sitting or lying with other dogs that were being boarded at the same time. Rebeca took really good care of him and assured me during my trip that he was settling in great. She said that she and her family adored him and would take him any time we need anything in the future. We will definitely have Rebeca watch him again when we travel! I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants their dog to be well taken care of!

We were very happy that we found you to take care our Safron while we were away. Thank you for regular updates about pictures and videos about Saffron. Also I really appriciate you being hounest about when she was not eating. I believe that she had a really good time at your home. Looking forward to get your service again soon. Fae and Joseph were so attentive to our dog during his stay. They kept in close communication with us and provided him with lots of TLC. Highly recommended!!!

We left our two pups with Faith for Memorial Day weekend. Faith was great with them! She's super responsive, and well organized! We'll definitely be going back in the future!

Stacey and her family were terrific! They spoiled our large Bernrdoodle Murph with love, treats and romps in the backyard. They sent tons of pictures to show us he was happy but most of all they were so accommodating when our trip got canceled due to the airspace being closed in the Caribbean. They could not have been more understanding of our situation and we look forward to booking another stay for Murphy with them sometime soon.

Our Winnie clearly had a great time with Lindsay and Tillie! Thanks so much for taking care of our girl and being so flexible and communicative.

My dog Phydeau and Liz have a thing going. He couldn’t wait to get out of the car, leave me and go inside at her place. I would be sort of jealous, but so relieved he’s so happy when we’re away. Liz is top notch!

Pepper was instantly happy with Mike and his wife Linda! They gave her so much love and attention. Pepper doesn’t usually settle so quickly and feel so at home. This was Pepper’s first visit with them. It usually takes her multiple visits before she relaxes. Mike and Linda have a special touch. Highly recommend.

I know I've left a million reviews---there are not too many more amazing things I can say about these guys but I really am so thankful for them. My girl, Betty, is getting on in years and I worry about her all the time. But I just know she's in good hands with Kane and Collette and it gives me such peace of mind when I'm away. Thank you for all you do for my sweet pup!

My little Lucy is a bit of a high maintenance pooch -- needing medication, special handling, etc. Bob and Kathi always welcome her with open arms and Lucy can't wait to get in their house! Although she happily greeted me when I went to pick her up, she turned right back to Bob and Kathi, ready to resume her fun times. It makes my vacation soooo much more fun to know she's having a fun vacation too! I can't recommend these folks highly enough!

I was so relaxed knowing Zola was with Jennifer! I got frequent updates and pictures of Zola having a great time walking, snuggling or playing! Would definitely recommend :)

Felicia took such good care of Echo and was an excellent communicator throughout the whole process. She asked some of the best questions a petsitter has asked us and we felt totally assured that our little pup was in loving hands.

Julie and her family were so great with my dog. They went above and beyond to make his stay special, and even stocked up on some of his favorite treats! I got photos and updates of both adventures and down time throughout his stay, and when we picked him up he was so calm and happy. We are beyond thrilled with his experience and will definitely be booking with Julie again!

Natali took amazing care of Henry! She played with Henry, cleaned him, and watched movies with him and sent me cute videos throughout Henry’s stay. 120% recommend!
