Doggy Day Care in Somerville

Truly the best people to look after my pup! Jerry barely wants to come home and they are great about providing photos and updates. Couldn't recommend someone more!!!

Cameron was great with Riley! She had a lot of fun and came home happy and relaxed. He sent photos and videos throughout the day, and Riley was clearly in good hands—highly recommend!

Shuhua is so kind and thoughtful, also flexible which helped because I made last minute plans. My dog, Sunny, loves her and was so happy to see her again.

I am very happy with Lynn's care of Fiona. Her attentiveness and care for our 9-month-old puppy was evident, and--even more important--Fiona seemed to thoroughly enjoy her day with Lynn (which was long: from 8am to 8pm). A few days before the 'big day' Lynn arranged a 'meet and greet' at a nearby park, and Fiona took to her immediately. So, when it came time for us to leave Fiona in Lynn's care, the transition was seamless, and Fiona went along happily. I will definitely ask Lynn to watch Fiona on my future trips to Cambridge/Somerville.

Tara and Logan were the first dog sitters I used on Rover, and I could not have been happier! Being a first timer, I was nervous about leaving my dog, especially with people I did not know, but let me just say that Tara and Logan immediately calmed my nerves and fears. Upon booking, Tara asked me questions about my dog Bear and if there was anything I wanted them to know about his behavior like reactivity or any things that he did, and did not like to make sure he was comfortable. About five minutes after I dropped him off, I received the cutest photos of him having fun and playing with their dog as well as a few other dogs they were watching that day. Bear had a great time with Tara and Logan and we will definitely be using them again!

Jacky and Harley were gracious enough to accept sitting for my 15 week old puppy for 3 consecutive days at their home while I had to be at the office. This was my first experience with Rover and I was skeptical about handing my little girl off to a stranger, but Jacky put me at ease, even agreeing to me with us to get acquainted prior to the appointment. Everyday I got routine updates with the sweetest pictures of my pup and Harley having the best time together. It was comforting to know she was being well cared for during the day and at pickup time I’d be bringing home an exhausted puppy, giving me some time to unwind after a long day of work. I can’t recommend Jacky and Harley enough, thank you!!

Millie had the BEST time with Andrew/Ellen, and most importantly Mango! Millie got to play with Mango and enjoy a nice walk! Loved the photo updates throughout the day, and their fast responses! Will be asking them to watch Millie again:)

Wendy is very patient and very kind with our sensitive pup. Candy is also a very gracious host. 🐶

Mia and Taowei were the sweetest sitters for our anxious pup. They immediately set our mind at ease with their warmth, organization, and frequent updates with the cutest photos and videos. Our dog loved staying with them so much that she even ran right back to their porch after we left for the day! Thanks for the wonderful experience, I hope that they’re available next time we need a dog sitter!

Once again, Ray is super reliable, flexible, and great with my 11 month old rescue. She comes home well exercised and better house trained. I really appreciate that I know she’s in good hands!

Gus had the absolute best time with Rebecca! I could tell right away that she’s a dog person, which gave me so much peace of mind when it came to leaving Gus with her for daycare. I also got tons of updates from her throughout the day. When we got home, I could tell that Gus had a blast and was very well cared for during his stay. We will definitely be rebooking with her this summer!

Indrajeet was a lifesaver on the day that I needed puppy care for my 11 week old German shorthaired pointer! I last minute requested his help and his response was immediate as well as very kind. He seemed like a natural caretaker and had a good sense of what my puppy’s needs were throughout the day. His communication was also excellent with frequent updates every couple of hours so that I felt very confident with his care. I also felt like he gave my puppy adequate mental stimulation throughout the day by going on walks, playing, engaging him so that my puppy wasn’t misbehaved or hyper coming home but the exact temperament as he would be if he spent a day with me. I would be so happy if Indrajeet would look after Kuma again 🥹🫶🏼!!

I cannot recommend Daria enough! She took such incredible care of my puppy, Luna, during doggy day care. Her communication was super prompt, and she sent loads of photo and video updates throughout the day, which gave me complete peace of mind. She took Luna on so many fun, active walks and made sure she was constantly happy and well-cared for. An added bonus was Daria’s dog, Kova, and Luna had the absolute best time playing with her! Daria truly went above and beyond.

Betsy looked after my dog for a couple of days while I was at work. She was very kind, accommodating, and highly responsive. My dog had a great time joining her in her daily activities and even got to enjoy some time with her family. It made me feel so much better to leave my dog in a home spending the day with an individual rather than at a doggie daycare where there are quite a few dogs and likely not the same level of attention and care that Betsy provides. My dog was very happy to spend time with her and was worn out at the end of each day. All good things. I will definitely be using her services again.
