House Sitting in West Groton

Joy has sat for us 3 times in the last month and a half and leaves our house spotless every time (including the yard and a winter’s worth of hidden by snow dog poop) and the dogs seem happy and healthy when we come home!

Brittany was fantastic. She did great with our dog and really made us feel comfortable leaving him in her care. She was also very professional with her scheduling and communication. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

Megan is very reliable and committed. She came for a meet n greet with our anxious guy and things went great. When she came for the sit, however, our dog could not settle down and barked at her non-stop - hiding under the table. We have no idea why he reacted this way as he has had many successful Rover sits (including overnights) with numerous sitters. Despite the barking and and stress of the situation, Megan stuck with our pup. She could have bailed, but she tried everything she could to help him calm down. It was a multi-day sit, so she even came back for another supervised visit to try and help our dude adjust to her. It got better, though, I think never truly settled. Nevertheless, she stuck it out and was a good communicator throughout. We really appreciated her persistence and care for our guy even though it turned out not to be the best fit between them. Reliability so important and you can count on Megan.

She provides exceptional care and love to our Lucy Puppy. She leaves the house cleaner than we left it!!!

Mikayla was amazing with our puppy! It was our first ever time using rover and we couldn’t be more satisfied. She was very responsive and communicated throughout the day! We would love to book with her again in the future.

Indigo took such good care of all three of our animals while we were away camping. We got great updates and pictures and everyone was happy and relaxed when we got home. Would highly recommend Indigo and we will happily be using them again!

Katrina was friendly, easy to communicate with, and left our home very neat after staying overnight with our dog. Look forward to having her help again in the future!

April did a wonderful job watching our two dogs at our house overnight. She was very communicative and responsible. Our dogs had a great time. Highly recommended!!

Callie was wonderful! She took care of our dog during our wedding! Our dog loved her and she was very flexible when it came to wedding day logistics. Would highly recommend and will reach out again for any future dog sitting needs!

Highly recommend! I am so thankful to have connected with Jessica! She went above and beyond in caring for our Goldendoodle over the past week. We came home to a healthy, happy dog, and an organized house! This was our first time using housesitting services for our dog and we will continue to use Jess for any vacations or drop in visits in the future. Excellent communication, always responsive, and very dependable. Every day, we would receive multiple detailed messages and photos. Our dog is family and after meeting with Jess and talking with her, I knew she would be a great fit! Not having to worry about our dog while we were away was such a big stress relief. I cannot recommend Sam highly enough! Sam saved our vacation and did an amazing job caring for our two dogs. We had originally planned for Sam to watch our dogs for the second half of our trip, but Sam was able to add on a few extra days to help cover the gap when our other dog-sitter’s schedule changed. When Sam came for the meet-and-greet, we spent about an hour together so the dogs could get comfortable and we could cover any questions Sam had about their personalities and routines. Right away we could tell Sam had awesome experience working with anxious dogs - within maybe 20 minutes of Sam doing all the right things to build trust, our nervous young rescue was asking for pets and attention, which is the fastest this has ever happened. Sam was up-front about out-of-the house commitments midday (for other standing dog-walking clients), which was awesome, since we knew our dogs would never be left longer than we were comfortable with. We got daily updates from Sam while we were gone with photos and little notes about how the pups were doing. We could tell from the photos and videos that the dogs were having an amazing time with Sam on their walks, lounging in the yard (their favorite), and snuggling. Our sweet, silly senior dog and usually slow-to-warm-up pup were both clearly smitten with Sam. We were absolutely confident that our dogs were in good hands with Sam and it was awesome to see how happy and relaxed they were while we were gone. We would 100% book Sam again in a heartbeat for the next time we travel!
