Doggy Day Care in Adelphi

Ours dogs loved going to Cal and Kelly’s for daycare and boarding. We always felt comfortable and safe leaving our dogs in their care. We would highly recommend them for your pets needs!

Jeramy was great watching our very active 50 lb "teenager" -- 14mo pup! She gave our dog lots of stimulation and provided regular updates throughout the day. We are grateful and plan to hire again!

This was my first Rovr daysitter arrangement. Yosef was quick to reply to my request for an 9AM to 9PM sitter date on short notice. I was driving into College Park for an event from 90 minutes away. I messaged when I left with an estimated time of arrival aligning with our agreed scheduled time. When I arrived and knocked, nobody initially answered the door, but I could hear 2 dogs barking. I began to call Yosef when he answered the door. Yosef was very nice and receptive to the care I was asking for Lax. I had already walked Lax for the day and I only really needed for someone to be his companion, let him out to go to the bathroom, and feed him dinner. Yosef sent pictures and a video along with messages throughout the day letting me know Lax was adjusting to the other dogs and finding comfy spots to chill. When I arrived to pick Lax up, I could see through the window Lax had found his companion in Yosef and Lax was laying at the top of the steps with Yosef just a few feet away. I got to meet Law, Yosef’s dog (I expected him to be about the same size as Lax, but I would say he is closer to a medium height dog), and another clients dog. They were very friendly and well behaved while I was there.

Nicolle has been so helpful keeping our pup safe & cared for after the pup had a difficult experience at another daycare. We highly recommend Nicolle!

We were visiting DC from out of state for the 4th and wanted to visit the Great American State Fair, and not only was it WAY too hot outside for our standard poodle, but dogs weren’t allowed in the festival. We messaged Josefa to check on her availability and within hours we were dropping our baby off and she was gracious enough to allow us an 11:30pm pickup. Josefa sent us pictures during Cliff’s stay and he looked relaxed and seemed excited to see us when we picked him up, but otherwise calm and not at all stressed. I have a feeling he just got petted and loved on the whole time he was there. Highly recommend this very responsive and super sweet sitter. Thank you again Josefa for taking such good care of our Cliff!!

Buca loved both of her days spent at Antonio’s house for day care! She went on walks and had lots of play time with Antonio’s dog Pickles both inside and in the backyard. Antonio and his wife are very easy and flexible to communicate with on scheduling and I will definitely be using them again 😊

Paul was great and I’d definitely book with him again. Very communicative, friendly, and available on short notice. Daisy was immediately comfortable in his home and was very excited to see him on our return booking.

Over the past two years, Amani has been the best, most reliable daycare for my golden Blob. Every single time I drop her off, Blob is absolutely out of her mind with joy to see Amani. When she comes home, Blob is dead dog tired after a full day of play. Blob formed a particular attachment to Amani's son, who taught her tricks, read to her, and played soccer with her. Their friendship is absolutely adorable. Amani took excellent care of Blob weekly from when she was two months old to two years old. Through that time, she was always flexible when my needs changed, picking up Blob or changing the date when I requested. We are sad to be moving out of state and will truly miss Amani and her family.

I must say I was extremely scared to have to put my dog in day care. Due to returning to work I had to find a someone as loving as me to care for him. Shantell and her family went beyond my expectations and took phenomenal care of him. On the second day he dropped out the truck to embrace her. That spoke volume to me as his pet mom. Andrea is a super star. She’s super flexible with scheduling and sends lots of photos and videos throughout the day. We are pretty sure Otis has more fun at her place than he does at home. We always feel comfortable when Otis is with Andrea and are glad to have found her.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but it’s my sincere pleasure to sing Anna’s praises. I had a recurring daycare booking for my Irish Setter two days a week, and Anna was wonderful. She was reliable, kind, and clearly loves dogs. My dog was always excited to see her and came home happy and well cared for. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I’m so grateful we found her and would happily recommend Anna to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy dog sitter.
