Pet Sitting in Annapolis Rock

As the wife of a veterinarian, I’m probably a little more particular than most when it comes to who I trust with our animals, and Michelle immediately put us at ease. She has a wonderful understanding of animal behavior and, just as importantly, knows how to properly approach and introduce herself to unfamiliar animals. Her background in animal control really gives her an advantage, and it was evident from the moment we met her. We have a grumpy, sometimes unpredictable dog and a skittish cat, so finding the right person isn't always easy. But after watching Michelle interact with both of them (she prefers a meet & greet prior to booking,) we had absolutely no hesitation leaving them in her care. Her communication was fantastic throughout our trip, with plenty of pictures and updates on the boys. It was so nice to be away and not have to worry about how things were going at home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michelle and would absolutely use her again in a heartbeat. Finding someone who genuinely understands animal behavior and can confidently handle different personalities is invaluable!

Rosie has been our dog walker for about 3 years now. She is consistently there for us when we need her. Bear our 7 year old Corgi loves her and is always excited when she takes him for a walk.

Some of my cats tend to be shy around unfamiliar people, but not Christa! They're at ease around her in a way that they just aren't with most people. I definitely plan to contact her first the next time I need someone to care for them :)

For a second time Lin watched our 4 kitties, all with various diet issues, and we can’t say enough nice things about her. Normally very shy, all of them were out for most of her visits. She spends time playing with them and keeps us in the loop about what is happening while we’re gone. We are very happy Lin took care of them!

As a first time user of Rover, I was initially nervous to book a sitter for our cats, but Alex was quick to respond and super friendly! I appreciated her communicativeness and the daily photos/check-ins. My cat Lana immediately warmed up to her, and our hidden, anxious cat Oliver got paid some special attention. She saved us from stress during our last-minute vacation and we would definitely book Alex again!

Sheila is amazing and a godsend. She has always been available to help me when I ask, even on short notice. The first time she came over, I had accidentally given her the wrong code to access our garage. She wasn't able to reach me when she couldn't get in, but she was resourceful enough to call my listed emergency contact for help. I think a lot of other people would have sooner left without walking the dog than think to try the emergency contact! I just adore her. Highly recommend.

Ken was absolutely fantastic! We have a very grumpy kitty and he did his absolute best to make her feel comfortable during his visits. He was very caring and nice but also was amazing at reading our cats boundaries. We definitely recommend Ken for those needing a sitter!
