Dog Boarding in Galena

Brittany was a wonderful caregiver for our beloved dog! She also was an excellent communicator with us and made the experience easy for us and ideal for our dog!

This was our first time using Rover. In 10 years of having dogs, we have always boarded them at our Veterinarian or other boarding facilities. We had such a good experience boarding our dog with Jill & Thomas in their home that we'll be using them instead for any future boarding needs. Communication was great from booking all the way through pickup, including them sending pictures and updates while we were away. They have a non-smoking home, which was a requirement for us. We loved that they have a fenced in yard, which our dog is used to, and she got to spend some time around their dogs, which she doesn't get in a 1 pet family. And bonus, they had an extra crate. Since she is used to sleeping in one, this meant that we didn't need to bring ours!

Mike and his family took good care of our puppy. They genuinely cared about our puppies well being and went above and beyond to make sure he had a great time with them. Also, made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. As this was our first time ever using Rover. Definitely a great experience. Thanks Mike!

Karen was great. She was flexible and had great availability. Karen was very nice and communicated great with me during our dog’s stay. She sent pictures and kept me updated. I would recommend her to others who are looking for a great sitter.

Great experience for my dog, Dolly. Tarina said Dolly made friends with a tiny Yorkie and a Great Dane puppy! I was away for more than a week and felt good that i knew Dolly was in a home away from home. Tarina has a gift of patience and kindness to care for other people’s pets.

Sandra was great with Buster. She helped him find lots of smells and comforted him during a thunderstorm. I highly recommend her and will use her again.

Nikkita was an absolute pleasure to work with, from the initial scheduling to the day we returned to pick up our beloved pup! She provided regular updates and photos daily, which allowed my family to feel at ease while on vacation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nikkita to care for your fur baby in her loving home.

5 Stars – Highly Recommend! I recently left my 3-year-old pug with Paris for 10 days, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, her communication was excellent—she kept me updated daily with plenty of photos and videos, which really put my mind at ease. My pug looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. It was clear she treated him like one of her own. I’m so grateful to have found someone so reliable and loving. I would absolutely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive pet sitter!

I am getting ready to book my second "vacation" for my dog with Pearl after an excellent first stay. Pearl was a fast communicator with a nice, clean, dog- friendly house. She has two sweet standard poodles of her own who got along great with my dog. He seemed well-loved and there were no issues at all. Thank you, Pearl!

Geosselyn was amazing! I have a very anxious dog who's scared of everything. She suggested meeting at a dog park beforehand to make sure my dog was comfortable with both her and her dog. It went great, and we decided to book her immediately. She has a beautiful home with a large yard that I knew my baby boy would love. The moment I saw him walk inside with her so comfortably, I knew everything was going to be okay. Throughout his entire stay, she kept me updated and sent lots of pictures. He became comfortable so quickly and was even cuddling with her family. She is 100% our new dog sitter. Thank you so much, Geosselyn!

Tabby watched my 4 month old husky puppy named Storm for a week. I came home to a very happy and excited puppy. Tabby is very responsive and will take great care of your pet. I received updates and pictures of Storm while I was away. We definitely will reach out to her again if we need pet sitting assistance. Our second stay on Jilesa’s farm, and I’m positive Ranger had the best time! Jilesa kept me updated on pictures and how he was doing which was very appreciated!

The boys didn't seem too excited to leave Emma's which is always nice to see. They looked like they were having fun and eating well in the pictures we were sent. They don't usually eat well when they're at a sitter, so the fact that they ate all their food with Emma was wonderful! We would definitely ask Emma to watch the boys again!.

Jasmine and her mom were great. I was a little nervous about leaving rocky with strangers but they mad me comfortable. The location was easy to find and they were very flexible with my pick up and drop off times. Thank you again and see you next time I am in town.

Tammy was a wonderful sitter for our pup during a 2 week trip! She’s kind, communicative, and very maternal which is exactly what our pup needs. Highly recommend!
