House Sitting in Hyattsville

Megan took wonderful care of our pup Sir Edmund and our home. She was in regular contact, providing updates and pictures without promoting. It was clear she really cared about our pups well being and went out of her way to make sure he was comfortable, happy and well cared for. We would book with Megan again in a heart beat!

Jayne was an amazing sitter! She was very communicative, sent great updates and photos, and took wonderful care of our home. Would rebook her again any time!

Molly came and stayed with our three bichons for several days. The house was not a mess and we are so happy she got to spend the time with them while we were away.

Alex is amazing! We had to leave town at the last moment, and Alex did everything in his power to make this a stress free trip. He met Baloo the day before we left and we knew immediately that Baloo would be in great hands. Alex sent regular updates and pictures and we could see how happy and relaxed Baloo was. Alex stayed at our house and let us know when he was leaving and when he returned, and left it cleaner than it was before he arrived. We look forward to having Alex hang out with Baloo again.

Nadia has truly been amazing with Brooklyn and has gone above and beyond every single time she cares for her. As someone who works long 13 hr shifts, having a sitter I can genuinely trust and feel comfortable with means everything to me. Nadia communicates with me throughout my shift, sends updates, and is incredibly proactive and diligent with Brooklyn’s care. She has honestly eased so much of my anxiety when I’m away because I never have to wonder how Brooklyn is doing. What I appreciate most is the amount of thought and effort she puts into making sure Brooklyn is completely taken care of before I get home. By the time I walk through the door after work, Brooklyn has been walked, cared for, and settled, and everything is in order to the point that I can literally come home and go straight to sleep. That level of consideration is invaluable to me. She has also been incredibly helpful throughout Brooklyn’s potty-training process. She’s always willing to offer thoughtful tips and feedback, and she even took the initiative to create potty-training logs to track Brooklyn’s pees and poops while in her care so that we could better understand her routine and progress. Nadia doesn’t just “watch” Brooklyn….she genuinely invests herself in her care and development. And after hiring other sitters in the past, you can definitely tell the difference between the care that others give compared to the care that Nadia gives. She is attentive, communicative, thoughtful, reliable, and consistently goes the extra mile. I’m incredibly grateful to have found her and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pup 🥹💗

Cannot say enough good things about Keaton. They looked after our 3 cats for two weeks. They capably handled multiple different kinds of meds for each cat, made sure each had their different needs for playtime and feeding met, and did it all with so much care for each. They sent multiple updates every day throughout the 2 weeks, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away, knowing the cats were in such good hands.

Gabrielle was amazing with our two kittens! We had never left them for the weekend before and I felt so comfortable with Gabrielle watching them and knew they were being cared for and adored while we were away. Highly recommend Gabrielle!

Jared house sat for me and watched my senior dog for about a week and a half. My pup enjoyed his company and even slept with him in the bed (which we allow in this house). Jared even went out of his way to refill the treats once they ran out! He was communicative, responsive, and shared photos and updates daily.

Hannah was the perfect sitter for my dog Momo. Extremely accommodating and quickly picked up on all the nuances of caring for Momo. Loved the frequent updates and pictures I received! I have already booked her again and am sure Momo is in great hands when I am away.

Rachel was simply great! We had her stay with our dog and our cat for a long time -- about 10 days -- over the holidays, and she did a wonderful job. She was communicative and left our apartment extremely clean. As far as we can tell, our animals were happy, so what more can we ask for?

Alayza took great care of Abbie over the holiday. Abbie was a little stressed since we had recently gone on a trip and Alayza made sure to give her extra love and attention.

Meredith was great! Very responsive to our check-ins and requests for pictures, and left the house in great shape. Willow Grace was peaceful and happy when we arrived home :)

Pambi did an amazing job taking care of my very shy and anxious rescue dog for a week of pet sitting. She was extremely patient with him, building trust slowly over time, so he could be a sweet and confident boy with her. She ensured he got his exercise and medications on his schedule, and took all his unique needs in stride. She communicated extremely well, asked questions when necessary, provided very thorough updates, and was absolutely a great fit for both my dog and me. She also took great care of my home and helped secure an item that I forgot to take care of on my way out of town—that was also much appreciated! I would absolutely call on Pambi again for care for Giles in the future and recommend her to others!

Stephanie was wonderful and truly is the Animal Whisperer. Our pup Kenzo is the sweetest boy but struggles with some anxiety. Stephanie immediately put him at ease, gave him massages, took him on a walk, and played fetch and tug of war with him. She was prompt in her arrival, an excellent communicator (sending lots of updates and adorable photos), and even stayed 15 minutes later than expected as we were running late. I’d definitely have her back and Kenzo was just smitten.

Shannon was great with my dog and cat and sent frequent pictures and updates. She also was very accommodating and accepted a last minute request to stay an extra two days when things with another pet sitter fell through. Would highly recommend!

We loved Chinyere and so did our two cats. They both need plenty of attention, and one needs medication. They were completely themselves without us. Chinyere was fantastic!
