Dog Boarding in Ijamsville

When our regular dog sitter could not keep Leo due to a prior commitment, we were very lucky to have met Linda and her family. They treated Leo as if he was their own dog, taking walks each day, letting him watch TV on the couch, and going above and beyond to brush his long coat. We were thrilled to receive daily photos and updates, and never worried about his happiness or care while we were away. They gave us total peace of mind.

This is my first time using Rover. Samantha is wonderful, extremely responsible and responsive. We had to leave our dog, Mochi, with Samantha for 21 days. She took great care of Mochi. We had photos of Mochi everyday enjoying himself. He's well-fed and well-loved in her home. Mochi needs to take medications due to his allergies and stomach reflux issues, Samantha made sure that he has his medication daily. Mochi somehow made an accidental "poo", which she took care of the problem, and even washed his blanket. Samantha does have a dog called Winston who reminds me of Winston Churchill. :-) It's a very good dog and got along well with Mochi. This is a great environment for Mochi, as he's an only dog, having Winston ensures that Mochi gets to learn to play with any "other kids". "YES" - we will book Samantha in the future.

Charlie's stay with Kathleen went off without any problems. Kathleen provided a daily update which was appreciated. I would definitely recommend Kathleen.

Terri did a fantastic job taking care of our dog for the weekend! She offered a meet & greet before the handoff so our dog knew where he was and settled in easier and set her place up for his needs beforehand. I would highly recommend using Terri as your dogsitter

Karen and her family took great care of Athena! She made it so we could go on vacation without worrying about her and knowing she was well taken care of.

Cameron was fantastic with our almost 1-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Teddie. He was incredibly kind and his genuine love for dogs was evident from the start. He took the time to make sure Teddie—who can be nervous in new environments—felt comfortable and settled. Once acclimated, Teddie had the time of his life playing and enjoying the large yard. Cameron took him on regular walks, sent tons of photos, and kept us completely at ease throughout the stay. When we came to pick Teddie up, he was practically ready to stay behind—which is always the best sign! Thank you again, Cameron. Having such a trustworthy sitter who truly goes above and beyond made all the difference. I’m sure Teddie is already looking forward to his next vacation.

Rachel & Jason took excellent care of my pup. It was very evident Bailey was well taken care of and they genuinely enjoyed his company. This team will be my first choice for future bookings.

Yvilene was a great host to my 3 cats! She kept me updated over the course of 3 nights, and engaged w the cats as much as they allowed her to. Yvilene was super friendly and helpful. She sent daily photos and made me feel very comfortable that my cats were taken care of.

Our dogs Penny and Brody had a wonderful stay with Curtis and Lindsay. They were wonderful hosts and accepted our "last minute" booking. They provided regular feedback including pictures and videos of our dogs running and playing in their yard. We will definitely try to book with them again in the future.

Amazing pet sitters! My puppy always came back to me clean and well token cared of! They stayed in contact and sent pictures throughout the day. They followed directions and answers any questions or concerns! I really appreciate their kindness and great hospitality to Amor Sky!

Hugo was so well cared for while staying with Ruth. He seemed at ease immediately and seemed to have a wonderful time while staying there. We received daily updates and photos, more than we even expected. The communication was excellent throughout, and it made us so at ease and able to focus on our trip, knowing that Hugo was being cared for and that if there were any important updates we would be promptly informed. Hugo had an excellent time for the entirety of his stay and we loved seeing him hanging out with Tazzz and generally being cozy and comfortable. Hugo was treated with care, love and attention and really seemed to like being there. When I picked up Hugo, he was excited to see me (and I got a nice video of the experience!) and then he was so calm and happy on the drive home. At home he seemed relaxed and genuinely refreshed from his stay, which really reinforced our feeling that he was in good hands. We would definitely have Hugo stay with Ruth again. Honey had a great overnight stay with Dan. He has a great set up for dogs who like to run and play - nice, big fenced yard! Dan was super friendly, flexible and quick to respond to texts. We will definitely book with him again! Five stars!

Jaxon and his family were absolutely outstanding! They provided a warm, loving home environment for my three dogs during my two-week trip, and I couldn’t be more grateful. With two dogs of their own, they expertly managed a pack of five—clearly demonstrating their experience and confidence as dog handlers. One of the things very important for me was their familiarity with e-collar handling. Each of my dogs has a unique personality and specific needs, and they all came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. My senior dog requires special attention, and he received exactly that. A special shoutout to Jaxon’s mom, Lisa, who went above and beyond. She followed every instruction to the letter and kept us updated with regular messages and photos. Since my dogs don’t eat traditional dog food, Lisa even prepared homemade meals for them—an incredible gesture that speaks volumes about their dedication. Their home is nestled in a peaceful, forested area, which provided the perfect setting for daily walks and outdoor time. It’s clear this family treats dogs not just as guests, but as cherished companions. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking trustworthy, compassionate, and skilled dog sitters.
