Dog Boarding in La Plata

We couldn't be happier with the care Erwin and his wife provided for Thumper during his week long stay. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear that their home was clean, spacious, and welcoming. Thumper seemed to settle in right away, and it was obvious he was comfortable and content throughout his time there. Erwin and his wife were attentive and affectionate with Thumper, treating him like a member of their own family. They kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which put our minds at ease. It’s such a relief to know that Thumper was in such good hands. We would highly recommend Erwin and his wife to anyone looking for a loving and comfortable place for their pet to stay. We will definitely continue to be bringing Thumper back!

Rena has been taking care of my dog for more than 2 years, and through her experience she continues to provide top notch care. My dog is high energy and Rena does a great job keeping him occupied.

Tara and her family did a wonderful job of keeping our Barkley entertained and engaged. The pictures and updates were consistent and helped to ensure that all was well. It was nice to see our dog have fun by playing with her pups and kids. I would definitely recommend Tara to anyone who needed someone to take care of, love on, and spoil their fur baby.

I had an amazing experience with Beauty. She was so patient with our pup and accommodated to his needs. She communicated with us regularly to let us know how he was doing. She and her family were so sweet i’d definitely recommend her!

I’m so thankful to Nick and Cee Cee for the wonderful care they’ve given Prince and Venus! I can tell they had a blast with you all. Your help over the last few days has been a huge blessing and we look forward to seeing you all again. 😊

Jizelle was outstanding! My dog, Aries, was in great hands while I was gone for nearly 2 weeks. Jizelle took Aries on multiple long walks each day, kept him engaged with lots of playtime, and gave him lots of love and affection. Not only did she take great care of Aries, but she went above and beyond, going so far as to do her own research about Aries’ breed and behavior and making adjustments to her care to better suit his needs. She handled Aries’ separation anxiety with patience and consistency, even when he made a mess and destroyed things. She even extended Aries’ time with her at no extra cost, so that we could schedule better pick up and drop off times. Her flexibility, attention to detail, and above all her willingness to care for my crazy dog as one of her own made everything so much easier for both me and my dog. That’s an easy 5 stars from Aries and I—we can’t recommend Jizelle enough!

I had a sudden death in my family and everyone in my household had to travel for funeral services. Tanita responded quickly to my request, scheduled a meet & greet right away, my pup was scheduled for boarding, and dropped off within a few days. My pup was taken care of, and from the pics I received - hopefully made new friends. I would use Tanita again, if she would have us! All I can say is grateful, grateful! Thank you

Mickey watched our female german shepherd, Mithcah a couple times and has been so very helpful to us as owners of a dog with multiple complications. Not only has he cared for our dog, but he provided us with proven tips for how we could improve her health and they worked. Mithcah also loves his daughter so I can't imagine taking her anywhere else. Thank you Mickey for all you do!

Brandy loves staying with Sabine. She knows when we turn the corner she is going to Auntie Sabine’s house. I only wish the Rover.com app would let us tip more than 30%…. Sabine, the rest of your tip is on the way❣️❣️❣️❣️

Our German Shepherd puppy immediately took to RLee, Taressa’s mom who was lives with her and wasthere to receive him. I was worried because he’s 13 weeks and this was his first time away from us. I knew we were in good hands. She sent lots of videos. Our puppy enjoyed his stay including the walks and the fenced in backyard! He got to play with their dog. Nice people, great community for walks. Will be back!

Megan is awesome. She’s so flexible and great to work with. She was available to watch our puppy even though it was a last minute request. She’s great with our GSP and he enjoyed his stay. I really appreciate the pictures and updates she sends. This is the second time he stays and we are so glad to have found her.

We were so happy to have found Lilian. Nola is very timid and shy but did really well with her and her dogs. Lilian kept us very up to date and sent pics and videos. I know Nola is missing her new friends and we will def use Lilian again when needed.

She is very kind and wonderful with Bailey, she sent us pictures every day and Bailey loved her time there

Chelsea-Jo and her family are the sweetest. From starting off with a meet and greet to dropping off my girls and picking them up. Everything was perfect. They were beyond loved so much that I feared they may not want to come home but that is all you’d hope for in a rover sitter. I couldn’t recommend her and her family more for your boarding needs.

Second stay with Melonie! My dog just ran into her house when we arrived and from the photos, I can tell she was filled with so much joy to be hanging out with Melonie. Really appreciate her watching my pup on a last minute request and showing her so much love 💗

Couldn't ask for a more caring person to watch our Chewie. Kimberely sent pics and updates and we will definitely use her service when our plans take us out of town.

Sarah was flexible with a schedule change, responsive, sent pictures and updates on how my dog was doing. I didnt have any issues and will definitely reach out to her again for care if needed.

Katie and her family were absolutely wonderful with our old girl. They were so patient with her insecurities and included her like one of the family. We received lots of pictures and updates, and wouldn't hesitate to leave Kona with them again in the future. Thank you!

Kelly treats our dog with the care and attention as if he were her own. We had an expected need for boarding and she was able to help. She treats our dog so well and I never worry when he is in her care. He is always SO happy to see Kelly!!

Lindsay is absolutely amazing — a true dog lover, not just a sitter. From the very beginning, she made Juju feel completely at home and treated him like one of her own. The photos and updates she sent melted my heart and let me know he was safe, comfortable, and genuinely happy. Juju got to play and socialize more than he ever has before, and I can tell it was such a positive experience for him — he’s been the calmest, happiest version of himself since coming home. It’s just me and Juju, so finding someone I can trust means everything. Lindsay gave me total peace of mind and went above and beyond in every way — she even sent him home with a sweet gift! If you’re looking for someone who will love your dog as much as you do, Lindsay is the one. She’s kind, attentive, and clearly has a heart for dogs. I can’t recommend her enough!
