Dog Boarding in Takoma Park

Our dog Sasha spent over three weeks with Chad and his family and she couldn't have been better looked after. They all clearly loved her and went out of their way to give her the best say. Chad was responsive to all communication and made sure we were always updated on how things were going. I would highly recommend Chad as a dog sitter.

I had a great experience with Nadia and her family. My dog can be anxious and worries when I’m not around, but he seemed really comfortable there. Nadia also sent me pics which was nice. I will use this sitter again :)

Alex and Daniel are so lovely and we're so glad that they were able to look after our dog, Toby, for a few days. Alex was so communicative before and throughout Toby's stay; he asked lots of good questions and we felt confident that everyone (people and pup) would feel comfortable with the arrangement. Toby was happy and relaxed when we picked him up, and we look forward to reaching out to Alex and Daniel again! Highly recommend :)

Kamille was fantastic!! She kept me updated with pics and videos and was a really good communicator. She took my dog in like her own letting him hang out on the couch and play fetch with her son. It was really nice to know he was in such good hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely rebook with her.

Cal and Kelly were a breath of fresh air to have care for my baby boy Chico! They were constantly responsive, sent plenty of pictures and videos throughout the day, and even communicated potential strategies with me to support Chicos future boarding experiences. The designated spaces and routine for their boarding brought me so much comfort I didn’t have to worry at all during my week long vacation. Would use them again 100000x over!

Stacey was a super professional with my dog. He can be a bit aggressive towards humans but she respected his space and eventually they became best friends! Her dogs also provided a good space for him to socialize and meet other dogs. Her service was a 10/10 and I will be booking again for boarding!

Coralis and her family took such great care of Pelusa ❤️ we are very grateful. We accidentally forgot to pack enough food and Cori quickly prepared something so that Pelusa could eat and wouldn’t affect her sensitive stomach. Cori was also very responsive and sent us photos and updates daily. Thank you for loving Pelusa as much as you love your pups!

Maryjo and Jon were great hosts, as usual! Super communicative, sent lots of photos, and clearly gave a lot of love to Raya, who came home happy and healthy.

Isai and his girlfriend were absolutely amazing with my Benny during his stay with them. He had such a wonderful time and was in great company with their sweet little dog. They kept me updated every day with pictures and shared what they were doing together, which gave me so much peace of mind. On the day I was supposed to pick Benny up, my flight was unexpectedly delayed until late at night, and they were incredibly kind and helpful by taking care of him for an extra day. I actually wanted to book them again for another weekend, but unfortunately they will be out of town. Seeing how happy Benny was and how much he enjoyed his time with them, I would absolutely love for him to stay with them again next time. I highly recommend Isai and his girlfriend—they took wonderful care of Benny, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! ❤️🐾

Grateful to Austin and Majid for accepting Caesar for 3 weeks so I could travel to my former Peace Corps site after 3 decades. They were responsive, kind, and kept me updated and Caesar seemed to love their company. Really felt like they doted on my old boy!!

Tessa loves to stay with Jeff and he takes great care of her. Jeff is very attentive. Tessa is high energy and that doesn't phase Jeff. I can leave her with him and have no worries. On longer stays, he's sent updates and photos, which is always nice to receive. Drop off and pick up are always easy to arrange. It's great to be able to rely on 'Uncle Jeff' to take care of Tessa, for both short-term or long-term stays.

Stephanie and Luis were awesome! Their home is lovely and the special boarding space for Frankie was simply adorable. He had his own “private space” which was a treat since I clearly don’t have space for a similar arrangement in my home. LOL They provided regular updates with pictures which I found very comforting as a fairly new dog mom. I would recommend them without reservation for any boarding or dog sitting needs. I’m going to have them on Rover speed dial for sure.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Chloe was great with Hobey! He had a wonderful time and Chloe was very helpful in figuring out our schedule for our trip. Seems like he had a blast!

Lia was an amazing sitter to Ruthie. She is great at communicating and sent lots of updates and great photos. I could tell that Ruthie was well taken care of and that Lia truly loves dogs. We definitely plan on asking Lia to watch Ruthie again!

Awesome dog sitter who was able to accommodate me on a last minute request. He took amazing care of my Maggie and I'd definitely reach out again!

Christian was very responsive to communication via text and took great care of Winnie! Our dog came home happy and tired from playing with Christian's dog.

Thomasena and her daughter Robin are truly the best pet sitters I have ever had. They take exceptional, loving care of my senior dog, always going above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable, safe, and happy. Thomasena has such a genuine love for dogs, and it shows in everything she does—from her attentiveness to her kindness and patience. Knowing my dog is in their care gives me complete peace of mind. I cannot recommend them highly enough and feel so grateful to have found them.

Cassidy was absolutely amazing with Goose! She watched him while I was away on a work trip, and her communication before, during, and after the stay was outstanding. I received plenty of pictures, videos, and thoughtful updates, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. When Goose came home, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved (and very tired in the best way!). I wouldn’t hesitate to book Cassidy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter ☺️

Natalia and Edward are kind and dedicated sitters, and their friendly pets and daughter helped our toy poodle feel very comfortable staying in their home for a week. We are so glad to know they are in our neighborhood. They will certainly be our first choice for a Rover sitter in the future.
