House Sitting in West Rock Station

Heidi did a great job taking care of our two Birder Collies while we were away for 11 days! We’ve never had a non-family member watch them for an extended stay before and this was our first time using Rover to find a sitter - we got so lucky with Heidi! She accommodated the different needs of two quirky pups and gave us frequent updates with pictures to know they were doing well while we were away! She even took extra care during the Fourth of July fireworks to make sure they felt calm and cared for during a time they probably felt a bit anxious. She played with them outside in the fenced in yard to get their energy out each day too. We are so thankful that we found Heidi and would love to work with her again in the future!

Sarah is fantastic. Our Mo loves her. She does a wonderful job of taking care of him.

Tricia was absolutely amazing. She sent us pics all throughout her stay and Tessa and Grey loved her. It was so comforting to know our pets were taken care of so wonderfully. We were really able to enjoy our time away.

Kat was a great sitter for our Bubba . She pet sat at our house for 8 days . She was on time , easy to communicate with, kept us updated with pictures and videos, and kept our bubba happy which put us at ease ! Hopefully she will continue to do this line of work because I would love to have her pet sit again ! Thank you Kat for everything

Care provided by Kathleen for our pets and our home is excellent. Her services are above expectations. Having a long vacation, knowing our home and pets were cared for in our absence provided great peace of mind.

Nina is amazing! She has great skills to interact with our dogs who are a work in progress- she helped them learn basic commands as well as shared ideas with us for how we can carry over and continue building their skills. Nina is very responsive to messages and sent a cute photo update :). Nina reads the dog’s personality and adjusts accordingly. Nina is very polite and kept our house clean throughout the stay! Highly recommend!!!!! We have a 6 month pit mix and 8 month Great Dane- they loved her!!!!

Lucy has so much fun with you! She's always super happy to see us again. But I can tell how much fun she's had because she's all excited and ready to play. And the house is always just the way I left it. Jackie is respectful and communicates wonderfully.

Jeff went above and beyond what would normally be expected of a house sitter when he was responsible for my huge, excitable dog while a crew of workmen were at my house installing a new condenser and replacing three mini-splits. He really cares about the animals he looks after.

An Absolutely Exceptional Sitter—The Best We've Ever Had! We are absolutely thrilled with the care Terry provided for our girl, Indy, during the first half of our honeymoon. From our first meeting, Terry was incredibly kind, professional, and clearly confident in her ability to handle dogs, and Indy instantly loved her. Terry provided us with unparalleled peace of mind while we were away. She sent us detailed, daily updates with multiple videos of Indy playing, enjoying her walks, and eating her meals. She truly followed all of our instructions for taking care of Indy to the T, ensuring she was not only safe and happy, but cared for exactly the way we would care for her ourselves. Beyond her incredible dog care, Terry's flexibility was outstanding. When my mother-in-law, who was taking over for the second half of our honeymoon, got sick and had a doctor's appointment, and needed to pick up Indy a day late, Terry was super accommodating and happily stayed the extra night. She also kept me updated the whole time of what was happening since I couldn’t communicate with my mother in law directly. When we returned home, we were amazed by how well she had cared for our house. Terry left everything spotless. She cleaned the sheets and made the bed in the guest room, vacuumed, swept the floors, and left the kitchen immaculate. She also perfectly executed a separate list of instructions we left for the house (watering plants, turning off the AC, etc.) that needed to be done since we weren't returning home for another week and a half. Finally, Terry left us the most wonderful surprise—a collection of thoughtful gifts, including beautiful coffee mugs, a kitchen towel, a candle, and a cleaning kit for Indy. Terry is genuinely amazing. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, incredibly caring, and thoughtful sitter who will treat your pet and your home with the utmost respect, book Terry immediately. Austin- we appreciate all of the care you took with Sabine and our home. You built a strong relationship with Sabine and one of her people now. Austin excelled in promptness, communication, care, keeping our home clean and helping with mail, and walking Sabine regularly. This has been our second booking with Austin this summer. He’s a lifesaver!
