Dog Boarding in Bar Mills

I wish I could attach a video of my dog joyfully leaping out of the car when we get to Elisabeth’s house as the review. Elisabeth is so mindful and knowledgable of Lou and her dogs dynamics and needs, and I feel so at ease when Lou is there knowing she is comfortable and expertly cared for.

We have used Kyle & Kaliegh many times in the past but this was our first extended stay away from our pup and it was nice to have the comfort knowing she was at such a great home

When I was invited on a trip overseas, I needed to find care for my girl, Hazel. I was very concerned about boarding her as we had never been separated, even for a day. She's also quite anxious and occasionally reactive, so I needed just the right situation for both of us to be at ease while I was gone. I found just the right fit with Tiffany and her family. Hazel was immediately at ease and comfortable in their home, I could not have felt more at ease and comfortable myself. Abigail and Neil and their family took great care of our two dogs. The dogs seemed very relaxed and happy when we picked them up and we enjoyed photos and feedback during their stay! It was great to know they were in such good hands!

Austin and her family took wonderful care of our dog while we were away on vacation. They have such a great location and are obviously very caring and thoughtful people. Communication was great and our dog was happy and healthy when we picked him up. Can’t wait to use them again next time!

Kathleen was very accommodating of our dog. She (the dog) had never been boarded anywhere before, so we were not sure what to expect. She is usually friendly with other dogs and well behaved but this was a new experience for her. She also has a special diet that we provided which Kathleen was happy to serve to her. Our dog started out well and went on a walk the first afternoon with Kathleen's dog and got along with her cat. But at dinner, she got food aggressive with Kathleen's dog. Kathleen separated the pooches at meal time and they subsequently got along well again. Unfortunately, our dog - because she was in an unfamiliar place and probably nervous - urinated around Kathleen's apartment. Kathleen was prepared to continue caring for the dog, but it just felt like too much to ask and better to get our pooch back to familiar territory. So our kids came and got her. I think this experience illustrates the lengths that Kathleen will go to provide good care for a pooch. Just was not something that our pooch was ready for.

Marna was great! Very communicative throughout our dog's extended stay. Seemed like our dog had a nice time and was treated well. Will use again!

Amy took great care of our three pups. We appreciated her accommodating their varying energy levels, which ranged from couch potato to rambunctious squirrel chasing. They were especially enthusiastic to explore her large home and backyard. Communication was great and she was flexible about pick-up. Would book again!

AmyBeth was everything a dog owner could want, for a boarding home/dog sitter. She provided Scout with so much kindness, comfort, fun activities/outdoor play and most importantly, love as if he was her own. Updates and photos were given throughout the days! Scout felt right at ease and at home while staying (he was a happy pup) with AmyBeth; she is definitely a natural with animals. We will be rebooking with her in the future! HIGHLY recommend!

We felt so comfortable leaving chexmix with Lauren and her very sweet son. Our dog was well taken care of and felt right at home. Would definitely use this dogsitter again!
