House Sitting in Cape Elizabeth

Nishat took excellent care of our cats and dogs while we were away, and she left our house looking spotless. Nishat was also very accommodating and understanding when we had to come home a day early.

John did a great job watching our animals while we were away on vacation. He came to meet them and get instructions ahead of time and checked in with us daily during the stay. They were both very happy and healthy on our return! Would definitely book John again.

Megan provided excellent overnight care at our home for our two German Shepherds while we were away on a short vacation. She provided us with delightful daily photos of the dogs enjoying their walks and her loving care of them. She was a very considerate houseguest and cared for our home as if it were her own. We are grateful for her service and would be eager to engage her outstanding service again in the future.

Viva was beyond fantastic!! We had never left our dog Izzy with anyone before, let alone over night. The second we met Viva it was an instant connection. She calmed all of our fears and was so reassuring. We had a fantastic meet and greet. We could tell Izzy was so comfortable with her right away, she was even sharing her toys! Viva stayed with Izzy took her on all the walks, tons of playtime. She was in constant contact with us sending pics and videos. Izzy had such a fantastic time with Viva that she even seemed to want to go looking for her after she left! Viva went above and beyond, making sure Izzy was well cared for. And also that we as Izzy's parents were amazingly comfortable leaving our baby with her!! There were hugs and (doggie) kisses all around! We will 100% be booking with her again!

Was wonderful having Ryan house and pet sit for us. Very attentive, would high recommend.

Really appreciated Bret's communication and responsiveness. She took great care of the house as well as my cat, who was very happy in her care. I'd definitely hire her again!

We are so grateful to have had Celine take care of our Rugie this last weekend - she sent updates throughout the days we were away, with adorable photos that showed our pup was happy and in good hands. She took time to play with our pup, snuggle with him, and spent considerable time at the house keeping him company. Elizabeth was wonderful with Willie! She was our house sitter for three nights, and took impeccable care of both our home and our pup. She kept us updated with texts, pictures, and videos throughout her stay. It was so nice to relax while we were away, knowing that Willie was in great hands with Elizabeth! Highly recommend.

Elise stayed with my little Yorkie Spooky and we were very pleased with this experience. Elise was in communication with me for updates on eating, drinking and bathroom status which put my anxious mind at ease and allowed me to relax knowing Spooky was in good hands. We’ll definitely book Elise again!

Amy always does a great job watching our dog. She takes him for plenty of walks and shows him lots of love. The house is always neat and taken care of when we get home. She cares a lot and is easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal!! Grateful we found Rachael to sit our two pups in our home. Henry and Acadia are 11 years old and this is our first time using Rover.com - Rachael gave us the comfort of knowing the pups were loved and well cared for, which made our trip that much more relaxing. Our first night back home Acadia would not go to her usual spot in the house to sleep - we found her sitting outside the bedroom that Rachael used looking at the empty room/bed. Where is Rachael?? - We knew that Acadia missed her.

Kaydence was a lovely babysitter! Sunny and Ellie seemed so happy when I came home and with her cleaning up after herself she really made it easy for me to slip back into normal life! Definitely would recommend

This was our longest booking with Sami so far and it was so welcome to know the whole time that someone so dependable and communicative was looking after our pup. Sami is always our first choice now when we’re looking for a sitter and we can always tell when we get home that both the dog and the house were well looked after. Thank you Sami!!

Sydney took great care of our dog and two cats while we went away on a weekend trip. She is easy to communicate with and a very tidy house guest!

Heather was excellent house sitting with our cat when we went away for a few days. We got regular updates, and it was clear that he warmed up to her quickly. She left our house neat and tidy. We will definitely ask Heather when we need a cat sitter in the future!

Lori did an incredible job at caring for my two dogs and senior cat while I was away for a week. She is an excellent communicator, has an eye for detail, and is extremely considerate. She even went so far as to buy some tennis balls to play with my golden puppy, who is a fiend for a good fetch session. Her daily updates and pictures/videos of my animals helped put me at ease while I was away on my trip; I’ve never felt so “not worried” about missing my animals while traveling. I would recommend Lori to anyone that needs pet and house sitting in the area in a heartbeat!
