House Sitting in Portland

John did a great job watching our animals while we were away on vacation. He came to meet them and get instructions ahead of time and checked in with us daily during the stay. They were both very happy and healthy on our return! Would definitely book John again.

Destiny did an incredible job with my dog Leto and cat Pippin. Leto has separation anxiety and she was so patient with him providing me frequent updates but also was very willing to adjust things to help make her stretch with him very successful. And she gave pippin so much love. I could tell just how comfortable he was in the updates she gave me. I always miss my animals when I go away but Destiny gave me confidence that they were in the best hands.

Sergey did an amazing job watching our two dogs for a little over a week. They’re a bit anxious, one takes a long time to warm up but they ended up becoming friends which allowed us to really relax and enjoy our vacation. We are super thankful, and if we travel again will hope to have him watch our pups again!

Megan provided excellent overnight care at our home for our two German Shepherds while we were away on a short vacation. She provided us with delightful daily photos of the dogs enjoying their walks and her loving care of them. She was a very considerate houseguest and cared for our home as if it were her own. We are grateful for her service and would be eager to engage her outstanding service again in the future.

Bret has been amazing to stay and keep an eye on our cat who has some health issues. We always get great updates, all of our instructions are followed perfectly, and we come home to a happy cat who has been well cared for. Thanks Bret!!

Was wonderful having Ryan house and pet sit for us. Very attentive, would high recommend.

Madeleine was friendly, responsible, and caring with my dog, Gus. She kept in touch and sent photos. She did everything I asked, including giving Gus medications, and she left the house in perfect shape. I would recommend Madeleine without a doubt for petsitting or housesitting.

Elise did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs while we were away for a week. We have anxious pups that warmed up to her really quickly. When one of them wasn’t feeling the best Elise did a great job taking extra care of her and keeping us informed. And as a bonus, our house is super clean, we can barely tell someone was here. We highly recommend Elise as a sitter, and are super thankful to have found her!

Our dog Midi is 12 years old, is blind, has some mobility issues, and is mostly deaf. She can be very particular in her needs for care because of this. Viva was absolutely an angel caring for midi and was very careful with all of her needs. She communicated with us throughout the pet sitting and the best part was she treated our dog with so much love and care.

Nishat did a great job staying with my cat Leo while I was on a trip. He is a very sweet boy but can be a bit high maintenance, so it's not easy for me to trust someone with all the details to keep him happy and safe. Nishat took good care of him while I was gone, sent a bunch of pictures and updates, dealt with my long list of notes for taking care of my goofball, and left the place spotless.

We were lucky enought to find Shannon just a few weeks before our trip. I had been nervous for months about leaving our senior dog, Chloe, (who has separation anxiety), but Shannon became her new best friend (which is surprising because it takes our dog a long time to warm up to people- but she warmed up to Shannon immediately). Shannon communicated with us and gave us updates- and cared for Chloe like she was her own when Chloe was feeling sick. We came home and everything was just as we left it- I wouldn't have even known anyone had been here! Our Chloe was clearly well cared for and as happy as could be. Had I known about Shannon, I would not have had to worry for so long about leaving Chloe! I will rebook her again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend you book her before someone else does. :)

Sami is an amazing sitter! We interviewed 5 people and came back to Sami because she had a chill vibe, which was great for our active dog. We hired her to house sit for 3 whole weeks and she was the best and proactive sitter we’ve ever had. She left summaries/ pictures everyday on how our dog did and kept our active dog stimulated. What I love about Sami is that we never had to reach out to her because we hadn’t heard. Most people start slacking. She was on top of it the entire 3 weeks. This made us trust her 100% and we never had to worry or micromanage. No one likes to micromanage. We could see how much our dog trusted her. The pup was having a blast. Sami went above and beyond and changed the batteries for us and even cleaned the sheets/ towels without us even asking. An all around professional. I would hire her again in a heart beat. If you are in need of a long term house sitter, Sami is the one.

Lynne did everything I asked for which is a lot. I’m very particular about what is best for my dog, Gus. Lynne walked him, socialized with him, played with him, and kept her eye on him. In addition, she sent me photos and remarks, and when she left, she cleaned sheets, took out garbage, and ran the dishwasher. She was amazing.

Booked her last minute for two nights and she was awesome. She took great care of my dog, made sure he got his walks, food, and plenty of company. I told her I didn’t need updates but she still sent pics and kept me in the loop, which I really appreciated. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!
