House Sitting in Portland

We had a fantastic experience with John, who dog sat for us for 9 days while we were away. We had never left our dog before so were nervous about how this would go, but John was so communicative, responsible, friendly, and helpful that we were able to enjoy our trip knowing that Leo was in the best of hands. He sent adorable pictures of Leo every day and was easy to contact. We came home to an immaculate house and a very happy dog. We would use his dog and house sitting services again in a heartbeat and are so pleased to have met him!

Sergey did an amazing job watching our two dogs for a little over a week. They’re a bit anxious, one takes a long time to warm up but they ended up becoming friends which allowed us to really relax and enjoy our vacation. We are super thankful, and if we travel again will hope to have him watch our pups again!

We booked last-minute; Paige was kind enough to help us out. She did a great job with our animals.

Katie house sat and watched our two dogs and 3 cats for us while we were away for a week. This was our first time hiring her, and we couldn't be more satisfied. All of the animals were happy and well cared for. She left the house clean and provided updates to us while we were away. Even watered the plants and took out the garbage for us. Excellent at communicating and even came out to visit and go through everything with the house and pets a few times prior to coming to house sit. Would highly recommend Katie to anyone looking for a house/pet sitter.

Kari was amazing watching our puppy. She sent photos and detailed updates, and took care of our puppy exactly as instructed (maybe even better!). She was respectful of our home and left it the same as when she arrived. Would absolutely have Kari stay at our house to dog sit again.

Their attention to detail was impressive. They noticed habits and personality traits in our girls that we know and take for granted. They could tell that Brynn was having some regular arthritis pain and that Lilly was off her potty schedule and quickly communicated that to us to make sure we were aware and to see if there was anything they could do to help. They’re great at asking questions when they think anything should be brought to our attention and want to know if there is anything they can do about it. Their passion and love for fur babies was evidenced by their regular and thorough check-in texts, the time they spent time with our fur babies, and pictures they sent. Their attentiveness and regular updates regarding Lilly’s med schedule and Brynn’s arthritis pain gave us peace of mind while we were away. We definitely will ask them to spend time with Brynn and Lilly next summer when we return to Maine. Would recommend them to anyone!

Andrew in a word was superb! He paid very very close loving attention to my cat, Bug. I received daily narratives and photos of her and of them playing. He was careful and accurate about her medication and paid close attention to my instructions about food and feeding. He also kept my home beautifully—he was very clean and neat, to say the least. I could not ask for a better cat and house sitter. I cannot say enough about his performance. I will absolutely have him return. I could see how happy Bug was when I returned—outside of her initial expected complaints about my absence! Andrew is a star! I felt lucky to have found him.

Ashton was great with my very needy, elderly dog! I’m always nervous leaving him now that he’s older and she gave me lots of update which deeply appreciated.

Jamie is great with our 4 year old mixed breed, Maya. He’s professional, kind and loves dogs! It is our first visit with Jamie and Maya says YES!

Sophie did a truly remarkable job caring for my 16 year-old dog GIGi. Sophie stayed at my house for over three days in order to provide the level of care that GiGi requires now at her senior stage. Bedtime proved to be extremely difficult due to the escalating separation anxiety my Velcro dog was experiencing. Sophia coordinated solutions with the veterinarian and myself. We worked out a plan which she implemented perfectly. Sophia had to administer medications and spend a great deal of time comforting my dog. I simply cannot praise Sophie enough. She is lovely, professional, calm and very mature. You can rest assured that your pet will be given the highest standard of care. My home was in tiptop shape upon my return. Highly recommend!

House was left very clean and the pups were happy. We got daily pictures and she was very easy to communicate with. All in all a great experience!

We highly recommend Katherine! She was great with our elderly dog and our dog with severe separation anxiety. She was knowledgeable, professional, and caring with our dogs.

Lauren took great care of our pups while we were away. She kept us updated and left our house spotless!

Chloe is amazing! I have a rescue dog who is has special needs become of trauma from abuse. Chloe came and stayed at my house with him while I was on a work trip. She was great with him, she was patient and managed his anxiety and trust issues perfectly. Chloe was great at communicating with me and made sure I had regular updates and photos of Oliver. Bonus that she left the house spotless😊 I highly recommend Chloe and will definitely use her for my next trip!
