House Sitting in Rockport

This was our first time using Rover. Ann was wonderful with Finn, and she was even happy to feed our little flock of hens. We appreciated her attentiveness and her flexibility to the needs of Finn, her trustworthiness and her respect of our home. We received lots of updates and great communication while we were away, and we were always able to reach her if needed, great responsiveness. We certainly hope to have Ann stay with Finn again and would happily recommend her based off our experience!

When it came time for us to leave our sweet little Davey boy at home for nearly two weeks to visit family out of state we turned to Rover and found Jill. We did a meet and greet prior to leaving and instantly my apprehension was put aside. Jill has the magic touch, our little guy gravitated to her right away and she nearly out him to sleep standing up with some masterful ear rubs. Almost immediately upon leaving we were receiving picture and video updates of one very happy dog. Hill was so communicative and clearly loves the dogs in her care. They went for long walks and she stayed at our house so that Dave could be in his own environment. She kept the updates coming the whole time we were away and it did our hearts so much good to see he was having a fun, totally relaxed, time with his newest pal in his own house. We of course missed him terribly but Jill did all the right things to allay the nerves or even the most neurotic new dog parents. We returned to a happy, healthy, much loved little dog, who looked like he had a good brushing recently and the house was immaculate. A kind note on the counter and a wagging tail- what more could one ask for from a dog sitter. Jill is a genuine , kind , responsible and communicative person who obviously loves dogs with her whole heart and understands how much they mean to their owners. Jill will be out first choice in dog sitters from here on out and we truly cannot recommend her enough. If you want to go away and feel like your dog is in the best possible loving care- Jill is the dog sitter for you !

Amanda was great! Our dog was happy upon meeting her and then super excited to see her when she came back to walk him. He can be a difficult dog to walk, lunging for sidewalk “scraps” or even at other dogs. She was in-tune with his emotions/behaviors, very capable. We would not hesitate to request to book Amanda again!

Excellent service!! Elizabeth was a fantastic pet sitter for our two dogs, two cats and two bunnies! We had to change the her arrival and departure times and she was very accommodating. Our pets were cared for better than we do! She kept us updated on how they were doing and sent us photos as well. Elizabeth stayed at our house for six nights and our house was also taken care of very well. We will definitely be using Elizabeth for our pet sitting needs in the future.

Nicole was fantastic! We needed her very last minute and not only was she available but Oona loved her. Highly recommend.

Hayleigh took such good care of our little yorkie, Harley. Using Rover was very helpful since we are from out of town. We appreciated Hayleigh taking the time to chat with us before arriving. Once we met Hayleigh we knew she was perfect for taking care of our Harley. She was patience and understanding with Harleys separation anxiety issues, she made him feel safe and secure. Hayleigh kept in contact with us as our evening progressed and we found comfort in knowing Harley was in great hands with Hayleigh. Hayleigh-We wish you lived closer to where we live. We will see you again the next time we come through the area. Thanks so much!

This was our first experience with Rover and we are so happy and relieved to have met Stephanie! She took wonderful care of our two (large) dogs. Both dogs were so relaxed and happy on our return that we knew they had felt safe with Stephanie. We highly recommend Rover and hope to see Stephanie again soon! MS

Hannah was wonderful. I felt confident leaving my dogs with her. She asked very good questions and the pups seemed relaxed around her.

Annabelle is an excellent communicator and a very nice person. She took great care of my dog and house.

Candi took great care of our three rescue dogs and home while we were away. Our three dogs all have very different personalities and care requirements, so finding someone who can confidently meet each of their individual needs is incredibly important to us. Our youngest dog is energetic and requires plenty of exercise and engagement, while our two senior dogs need a much slower pace and extra attention. One of our seniors is a 13-year-old who is both hearing and vision impaired and has a number of behavioral quirks that come with age. He requires patience, consistency, frequent potty breaks, careful supervision outdoors, and an understanding of how to help him navigate his environment comfortably. Candi took the time to understand each dog’s routine and personality and cared for them exactly as we had hoped. Throughout our trip, she was highly responsive, sent regular photo updates, and kept us informed, which gave us peace of mind. It was clear from the photos and updates that our dogs were comfortable, happy, and relaxed in her care. When we returned home, they were content and at ease, showing how well cared for they were. She also took excellent care of our home, leaving everything in great condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Candi to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter—especially if you have pets with special needs or unique personalities. We would gladly have her care for our dogs again.

Christi was perfect for our pups! She was responsive, sent us photos and updates. We hate to leave them at home but we knew they were safe and happy in her care!

We were so lucky to have Liseli housesit for our dogs while we were out of town - she's a gem! Both of our dogs, even our shy one, warmed up to her quickly. She arranged a meet and greet a couple weeks before hand as well, which helped our dogs get to know her. While we were away, she also proactively sent long a daily update to let us know how things were going, took fun pictures, and asked clarifying questions. This was our first time ever hiring a dog sitter, and she made the entire experience stress-free and gave us peace of mind from the very beginning. We will definitely be booking with her again. We can't say enough great things about her!

Jessica was awesome! She watched our corgi and cat for 5 days when we went away for our bachelorette/bachelor parties . She had great communication and took lots of pictures and videos. When we returned home she had vacuumed and made sure the house was in good condition. Thanks again, Jessica!
