Daniel took care of my PTSD-riddled dog, cat, and home while I went on vacation. He was gentle, intentional and so communicative, sending updates and photos throughout the week. He overcame my dog Moose’s fear of men with his gentle and healing nature, while graciously handling a leaking water faucet and dishwasher. I’ll definitely be using Daniel in the future and highly recommend him.

Heather was excellent house sitting with our cat when we went away for a few days. We got regular updates, and it was clear that he warmed up to her quickly. She left our house neat and tidy. We will definitely ask Heather when we need a cat sitter in the future!

Candi took great care of our three rescue dogs and home while we were away. Our three dogs all have very different personalities and care requirements, so finding someone who can confidently meet each of their individual needs is incredibly important to us. Our youngest dog is energetic and requires plenty of exercise and engagement, while our two senior dogs need a much slower pace and extra attention. One of our seniors is a 13-year-old who is both hearing and vision impaired and has a number of behavioral quirks that come with age. He requires patience, consistency, frequent potty breaks, careful supervision outdoors, and an understanding of how to help him navigate his environment comfortably. Candi took the time to understand each dog’s routine and personality and cared for them exactly as we had hoped. Throughout our trip, she was highly responsive, sent regular photo updates, and kept us informed, which gave us peace of mind. It was clear from the photos and updates that our dogs were comfortable, happy, and relaxed in her care. When we returned home, they were content and at ease, showing how well cared for they were. She also took excellent care of our home, leaving everything in great condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Candi to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter—especially if you have pets with special needs or unique personalities. We would gladly have her care for our dogs again.

Rachael cared for our two senior dogs over a long weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful for her in every way. One of our dogs needs a little extra help here and there, and she helped him feel so cozy and supported. Beyond this, she lessened our stress of traveling without them with her clear communication, updates, and really cute photos. Lauren cared for my 4 adult Papillons and their litter of 4 puppies while I was at my son’s wedding in NYC. 8 dogs! I felt completely comfortable leaving my 8 precious babies with Lauren, she is careful and articulate. It was clear that she remembered all feeding routines after just one explanation. Things can get complicated with young puppies quickly — Lauren sailed along seamlessly, reporting how mealtimes went and sending pictures. I wish Lauren the best on her Maine Bar and hope to hire her again !

Hannah was a life saver - I lost my original sitter at the last minute the same day I was to leave for the weekend on a trip. Not only did she respond to my last minute request with a yes but she was at my house that afternoon meeting me and the pups before I left. I came home from two relaxing days to happy exercised pups - first time using Rover and will definitely be booking with Hannah again!! highly recommend!!!

Katie did an excellent job of caring for our dog’s medical needs while we were away and keeping us up to date on how he was doing. She balanced taking care of him and our cat at the same time for over a week, and both pets were clearly happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we came home. This is the most relaxed we’ve seen our dog after having a dog sitter. We’re very thankful for Katie’s attentive and responsible approach.
